And I thought only women smoked menthol cigs. Biden administration US ban on menthol cigarettes delayed. Growing up I always thought only women and men who flicked their wrists smoked menthol cigs. Boy was I wrong.

About 81% of Black adults who smoked cigarettes used menthol varieties, opens new tab,  According to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). I can see Joe’s hesitation.

But some observers say other priorities are behind the delay, namely the lack of support for the idea as the election sharpens into view.

Democratic strategist TJ Rooney argues the president is right to put off the ban until next year.

“People of all race, creeds, and colors know the dangers of smoking,” he said. “My hope is that the big thinkers are equally concerned with explaining the broader picture of what’s at stake in this election. This is a great issue for 2025.”

Biden strikes again. Calif.-based 99 Cents Only Stores Closing, Citing COVID, Inflation, Theft. Well Joe’s at it again. His economy is forcing stores to close and put thousands of folks out of work.

Not only is a convience chain in California closing all 371 of its stores, but Family Dollar will close 970 stores and Dollar Tree will close 30 stores.

One thing that’s common in both closings is that most are in neighborhoods that don’t have a grocery store. So folks were forced to buy what limited food items they had at a higher cost. Now that is gone.

As we all know, Bidens number one friend and ally in the Middle East is Iran. The White House was shocked that Israel would do this to Joe’s buds.

The U.S. told Iran that it “had no involvement” or advanced knowledge of an Israeli strike on a diplomatic compound in Syria that killed a senior Iranian general, according to a U.S. official.

Even though Iran is known for their sponsorship of Terrorism world wide, that doesn’t seem to bother Joe. Don’t be surprised if Biden doesn’t end up sending representatives to the funeral.

One more win. Judge Strikes Down Biden Highway Climate Rule for States. These folks just don’t give up. They continue to throw mud against the wall hoping something sticks.

A U.S. judge struck down a climate rule adopted by the Biden administration requiring states to measure and set declining targets for greenhouse gas emissions from vehicles using the national highway system.

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton sharply criticized the effort, saying the state would work to stop “unlawful climate mandates.”

A separate group of 21 states sued in December in Kentucky also challenging the regulation. That lawsuit is still pending.

Another win. Fifth Circuit in Case Involving the Biden Administration’s Attempt to Provide Drugs and Medical Treatment to Children Without Parental Consent.

For some strange reason the Biden Administration feels that 1st graders can make their own decision when it comes to drugs and castration. Courts said different.

Last week, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit issued a unanimous opinion in Deanda v. Becerra, which rejected the Biden Administration’s efforts to prevent parents from consenting to, or even learning about, medical care provided to their minor children, specifically, birth-control pills and other related services.

Texas has a parental consent law but the Biden Administration felt that Title X clinics in Texas have falsely claimed for decades that the Title X statute “preempts” state parental involvement laws and exempts Title X clinics from Texas’s parental consent requirements.

It actually does just the opposite. The statue actually encourages parent participation. Nuff said.

Obrador, has demanded that the U.S. give $20 billion a year to Latin American nations, lift sanctions on Venezuela, end the Cuban embargo and give legal status in America to the millions of Mexicans who already have entered illegally.

Biden continues to lie. Now claims that the man who was a crusader against the undocumented got him involved in politics. Biden now claims that Cesar Chavez got him involved in politics.

He has previously claimed he got involved in politics because of civil rights, voting, the environment, Vietnam, redlining, white supremacists, a highway, being a public defender, Bull Connor’s dogs, and much more.

Interesting that now Ceaser Chavez is why he got involved. What do we know about him?

Beginning in the spring of 1974 Chavez led a systematic attack on undocumented workers coining his crusade as the “Campaign Against Illegals.” Chavez’s UFW campaign circulated a petition calling for the Department of Justice (DOJ) and INS to enforce immigration laws and to “remove the thousands of illegal aliens now working in the fields.” Frustrated with the INS’s lack of action, the UFW had volunteers that tracked down illegals and informed the INS of their places of unemployment and homes. By the summer of 1974 the UFW had reported more than 5,000 undocumented workers to the INS. Despite the UFW’s efforts the Border Patrol reported the arrest and removal of only 195 “illegals.

Furthermore, the UFW formed a militia coined as the “Wet Line” to guard the Arizona-Mexico border with a few hundred goons in which they claimed to have semi-succeeded in policing several miles. The militia was headed by Chavez’s own unscrupulous cousin Manuel Chavez.  The Wet Line lasted until at least 1975 where the militia men roamed freely intercepting undocumented immigrants and beating them. Chavez did everything in his power to hold back the mighty wave of undocumented immigrants from Mexico because as the Fresno Bee reported.

Case to watch. Biden social media case heads to Supreme Court. Even MSM has admitted that federal officials in the Biden administration have mettled in social media and how they should ban or delete what they think is misinformation. This from The Hill.

The Biden administration’s legal battle over social media content moderation will reach the Supreme Court on Monday, when the justices are set to hear arguments over whether federal officials violated the First Amendment by urging platforms to remove posts they deemed false or misleading.

Two Republican attorneys general brought the case in a challenge to the administration’s efforts to curb misinformation online — an effort they described as a government “campaign of censorship.” They purported federal officials “coordinated and colluded” with social media platforms to “identify disfavored speakers, viewpoints, and content.”

Now the government lost before the 5th Circuit. Found that the White House, FBI and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention crossed the line into coercion.  After rehearing the case, the panel ruled that CISA did overstep also.
