How could this be? Progressives said that only red states gerrymandered?
I’m sure that by now you’ve heard that blue state governors are crying the blues. Acting like they never heard of gerrymandering in a blue state. Some even said that because Texas Republicans were doing what Texas Democrats did, they were going to gerrymander. Well Obama’s boy the former Democrat mayor was going to set the record straight.
On Thursday’s broadcast of CNN’s “Inside Politics,” CNN Senior Political and Global Affairs Commentator, former U.S. Ambassador to Japan, former Obama Chief of Staff, and former Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel acknowledged that Illinois is a heavily gerrymandered state and admitted “I have participated in it” edited.
