Lawmakers often vote without knowing the price tag.

Lawmakers often vote without knowing the price tag.

What happens when you use the Pelosi principle. Pass it then see what it costs. Well NY did that. State lawmakers overwhelmingly signed off on a series of multibillion-dollar expenditures they said would position New York as a leader in semiconductor manufacturing.

Now they have a $5.5 billion in taxpayer-funded incentives for Micron to build several large chip fab plants in central New York. Where will the money come from?

Now they passed a bill that would make all school buses be electric by 2027. They would kick in $500 million. Estimates are coming in at $3-5 billion. So where does the rest of the money come from?
