She reminds me of a loon who did their sons homework for ten years so he could become a lawyer. It is ALWAYS a federal crime
Under federal law, shooting at an ICE agent is a felony regardless of the state where it happens.

Assaulting, resisting, or impeding a federal officer.
Using a firearm elevates it to a felony with very high penalties.
18 U.S.C. § 1114
Attempted killing of a federal officer.
Punishable by up to life in federal prison.

Threats or attempts to harm federal officers.
So federal charges are guaranteed.
So, state stand your ground has no bearing whatsoever. Unless the AG wishes to add additional charges.
