California saying goodbye to entertainment, manufacturing, and energy jobs.

Granted some have been in a spiral downfall for almost a decade but until now no one’s looked at the approximate numbers. How’s 250-350,000 job loss sound? And that’s the direct number. This doesn’t count the side jobs these industries provide.

These aren’t cyclical losses — they’re structural. They reflect long‑term policy choices that make it harder to film, build, or produce energy in the state. Compared to Ohio.

This failure is reflected in the state’s and (both the highest in the nation), and its Meanwhile other states — Texas, Florida, Arizona, the Carolinas and Tennessee, for example — have copied the California model and they have done it, as Californians once did, based on the goal of lifting up all classes. Long reactionary in their politics and social structure, these states’ business-friendly policies now have something to teach the progressive Golden State.

To revive the California model, you need dedicated visionaries and an evolving workforce, but mostly you need state government to remember what it means to be willing and able to help the visionaries and the workers succeed.

And this is another reason Progressives are upset. Jobs Gains Going to Native Born Americans, Wage Gains Outpacing Inflation.

Jobs that Progressives promised to the illegals are going to American citizens and the legal immigrant. That just doesn’t sit well with them.

Also, Americans are making more now than under the Biden administration. Another sticking point for Progressives.

Jobs are going to native born Americans. That’s actually quite interesting, too. It’s not just going to people who were, or legal residents of the United States. It’s actually going to people who were born American born people. This is very important again, because that’s fundamentally who the country is supposed to work for, for the people we have here.
