We now see that Minnesota has come to an agreement with ICE. It doesn’t matter what the progressive white Supremacist Governor or Mayor say. Or what the Affirmative action AG spews. The counties run the jails
Here is the agreement. Cities in Minnesota do not control jails — counties do. ICE cooperation happens at the sheriff/jail level.
Lets sheriffs hold people for ICE up to 48 hours
Allows honoring ICE detainers without warrants
Pays counties for the holds
Gives ICE custody before release
Is being adopted by Minnesota counties
