Poll. Do you support the playing of the Black National Anthem at sporting events? Sorry but this has no place at sporting events. Maybe at Antifa/BLM protests/riots.

Playing this is just one bad idea. What say you?

Opinion. To me this is great news. Only 500,000 youth got the virus.

To me this is great news. Only 500,000 youth got the virus. Sure that sounds like a lot, but 500 K out of how many millions? Also only a 103 deaths. Heck Cuomo has more than that in just one nursing home.

The report said the cumulative death toll in the U.S. for children due to the coronavirus is 103. In a subset of data that was analyzed from 42 states and New York City, children were 0-0.3% of all COVID-19 deaths, and 18 states reported zero child deaths.

I look at these awesome numbers and wonder what are the teachers afraid of? It’s not like they will be partying with the students is it? Lighten up teachers. The odds of you getting run over or assaulted by a BLM protestor is greater than getting the virus from a student.

Now will he go after the main hate group out there? Biden publicly condemns Antifa following criticism from the right.

Now will he go after the main hate group out there? Biden publicly condemns Antifa following criticism from the right. Finally after all these months Joe Biden condemned part of his base, Antifa.

Joe Biden countered criticism that he’s been soft on aggressive protesters, arguing he’s disavowed antifa while President Trump hasn’t distanced himself for its far-right counterparts.

Back in 2017 President Trump has condemed the hate groups from the right. But to this day Joe refuses to recognize that this has been done. Why is that Joe?

The 2020 Democratic presidential nominee and two-term vice president was asked whether he denounced antifa, a left-wing protest movement that says it opposes fascism but that critics say is actually an effort to foment violence.

“Yes, I do — violence, no matter who it is,” he told Lancaster, Pennsylvania-based NBC affiliate WGAL on Sunday.

Now America is waiting to see if he will also condemn BLM, A VERY LARGE PORTION OF HIS BASE.

What say you?

Donald Trump is nominated for the 2021 Nobel Peace Prize following deal between Israel and the United Arab Emirates. No Biden doesn’t get nominated for his making us aware of his mental issues.

President Donald Trump has been nominated for the 2021 Nobel Peace Prize, just weeks after helping to broker peace between Israel and the United Arab Emirates.

He was nominated by Christian Tybring-Gjedde, a member of the Norwegian Parliament, who praised Trump for his efforts towards resolving conflicts worldwide.

‘For his merit, I think he has done more trying to create peace between nations than most other Peace Prize nominees.”

Four U.S. presidents have won the Nobel Peace Prize, which is determined by the five-person Nobel Committee, which is appointed by the Norwegian Parliament.

Barack Obama won in 2009, Theodore Roosevelt in 1906, President Woodrow Wilson in 1920 and President Jimmy Carter in 2002. The 2021 winner will not be announced until October next year.

Now they’re hating on 911. American flags must come down.

Now they’re hating on 911. American flags must come down.

Since the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, American flag displays have adorned New Jersey highway overpasses as a spontaneous outpouring of patriotism and support.

Some were hung and forgotten, others were meticulously maintained much like the display of American and military flags on poles at the New Jersey Turnpike Authority overpass south of exit 11 in Woodbridge. But now, the New Jersey Turnpike Authority wants the flags gone. We have this from the Turnpike Commission.

“While we appreciate the desire of some New Jersey residents to express their patriotism in these turbulent times by displaying flags on Turnpike and Parkway overpasses, Authority regulations do not allow it, and for good reason,” said Tom Feeney, a Turnpike Authority spokesman. “The NJTA cannot adequately monitor flags mounted by private citizens to make sure they are safely and securely hung, properly displayed, and respectfully maintained.”

Two Central Jersey lawmakers said they plan to change that statute to keep the unofficial flags flying. Senator Declan O’Scanlon and Assemblywoman Serena DiMaso, both R-Monmouth, plan to introduce a bill to exempt display of American flags from the statute and asked Gov. Phil Murphy to intervene.

How many years not have those flags been flying? Now it’s an issue?

Hate Group disrupts diners in Pittsburgh.

Hate Group disrupts diners in Pittsburgh. Authorities in Pittsburgh, Pa., said they were investigating a newly released video that appeared to show protesters confronting outdoor diners in the city’s downtown on Saturday, a report said.

Footage from a demonstration in Downtown Pittsburgh over the weekend is blowing up on social media. The viral video showed demonstrators and restaurant-goers clashing in the streets.

According to a statement released to KDKA by the Pittsburgh Bureau of Police, officials are reviewing video of the incident and encourage anyone impacted or assaulted during the protest to file a police report. Attorney Scott Brady calls the video “unacceptable” and says he’ll work closely with police “to identify and hold these provocateurs accountable.”

KDKA spoke with one of the demonstrators from the video captured along Penn Avenue who said there is more to the story.

The woman who posted the viral Facebook video online said she was “shocked” when the crowd rolled past her dinner table. The video showed protesters screaming insults at restaurant-goers as some left their tables.

A person can be seen walking over to an elderly couple, grabbing a beer off their table and drinking it.

Another video showed demonstrators chasing away a group of people who rode their bikes through the crowd. One of the riders is seen in the video smacking a bullhorn that belonged to one of the protesters, then getting whacked over the helmet with a skateboard.

Usually they act like this only after dark when the local news posted how peaceful they are. But it looks as if that has now changed. Showing their true colors.

Ford reveals electric Mustang with ‘stunning’ acceleration.

Ford reveals electric Mustang with ‘stunning’ acceleration. This is so unbelievable. 900 Horsepower? When it arrives in late 2020, Mustang Mach-E will be available with standard and extended-range battery options with either rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive powered by permanent magnet motors.

Chief among the information in the limited spec revealed was the revelation that the Mustang Mach-E will be available with a variety of different power outputs, giving 0-60mph times rated between mid-three seconds and mid-six seconds. Range for these models is quoted at between 230 and 300 miles on the EPA system, while all-wheel drive and rear-wheel drive are available depending on which model is chosen.

Ford also announced today that it will begin taking deposits for the Mustang Mach-E in the US and Europe immediately after it’s revealed, with the first wave of buyers being offered the option of a highly specced First Edition model. However, full pricing hasn’t yet been announced, while Chinese buyers won’t be able to put down a deposit until a later date.

Deliveries of the Mustang Mach-E are expected to commence in 2020, suggesting the car in Los Angeles will be a production model rather than a concept. Ford is understood to have had huge internal debates over using the Mustang name in production. The new model was given the ‘Mach 1’ tag during early development because of strong public opinion against the use of the branding historically reserved for Mustangs, but Ford has now decided to combine both.

Shaak-no Sambharo (Quick Pickled Vegetables)

Shaak-no Sambharo (Quick Pickled Vegetables). Chef MC here. Quick-pickled vegetables are welcomed any time of the year. This mixture works as condiment for a traditional meal made of roti and a sauteed vegetable with daal and rice, but it also can be served alongside dishes like royal chicken cooked in yogurt or paneer butter masala.

Yield
Makes 4 to 6 six-ounce jars
Total Time
35 minutes

Ingredients

    • ⅓ cup vegetable oil
    • 4 Tbsp. whole black mustard seeds (or 4 tbsp. store-bought coarsely crushed mustard seeds)
    • 3 Tbsp. whole fenugreek seeds (or 3 Tbsp. store-bought coarsely crushed fenugreek)
    • 1 tsp. asafetida powder
    • 1 Tbsp. ground cayenne (to taste) or 1 large serrano pepper, deseeded, and sliced thin
    • ⅓ cup julienned ginger (optional, see Pre-Prep below)
    • 2-4 Tbsp. white vinegar
    • 2 tsp. kosher salt (optional)
    • 2 cups mixed vegetables, prepped as follows
  1. Preparation

      1. Pre-Prep: Trim fresh vegetables like cauliflower, carrots, radish, and others into bite sized pieces, and no larger than the container they will be stored in. Flash steam firm vegetables like cauliflower and carrots in a colander over boiling water for just a minute or two: the pieces should still be firm. Lay them on a kitchen towel to dry. If using fresh turmeric, cover the chopping board in plastic wrap, and wear gloves. Scrape off the skin with a spoon as you would for ginger and rinse it clean to wash away any tough bits. Pat each fingerling down and slice into thin rounds or to match the ginger, and place on a paper towel to air dry. All vegetables must be dry to touch before pickling. To prepare ginger, peel and slice ginger into eighth-inch-thick slices, and chop them to look like carrot sticks. Spread on a paper towel and set aside to air dry for 15-20 minutes.
      2. If using whole mustard seeds or whole fenugreek seeds, in two separate sets, crush each in a spice mill in short bursts until they each are broken down but not powdered. They should be the consistency of coffee grounds.
      3. Method: Heat the oil in a large, wide mouth saucepan until it is hot but not smoking. Reduce the heat to low. Slowly add all the spices: mustard halves, fenugreek halves, asafetida powder, cayenne pepper if using, along with the serrano pepper if using, and ginger sticks. Add vinegar and salt. Allow this to sizzle for a minute on low. Stir to allow the heat to distribute evenly. When the oil is aromatic, slowly add the trimmed vegetables and stir in well. Turn up the heat and let this cook for 4-5 minutes until vegetables appear to have absorbed the spices a little. Turn off the heat and cover with a paper towel to capture any steam. Allow this to come to room temperature before storing.
      4. To Store: Use smaller (4 – 6 oz.) sanitized and dried glass jars to store the pickle. Using a clean and dry spoon that is smaller than the mouth of the jar, ladle out portions of the pickle into each jar. Don’t worry if you don’t get the oils or juices when first filling the jars. Fill jars at least a half inch below the rim of the jar. Shake them once to allow the pieces to settle. Divide up any of the liquid over each of these jars, taking care that each jar has some of the spicy sauce. Lightly shake each jar to ensure the liquid finds its way into the nooks and crannies of vegetable pieces. Close the lid and store in the fridge. The pickle is ready to eat immediately after it is made, but the flavors are pronounced after a day or two. Serve using a clean and dry fork or spoon for each serving to avoid contamination.
    Note:
Do not use finely ground mustard seeds and fenugreek here; you want to retain the texture a bit.
