My social medicine fix for healthcare.

OK so I’m going to be labeled a socialist because my fix would be mandatory. And if it works, who cares?

Number 1. All companies big and small must offer Health Insurance. This includes all religious organizations and for profit and nonprofit groups.

Number 2. If a company uses 1099 independent contractors, then those contractors must be offered health insurance.

Number 3. No more just showing up at the ER (UNLESS IN AN AMBULANCE). All those on Medicare and Medicaid have six months to pick a family doctor. If they don’t pick one, one is assigned.

Number 4. All insurance companies start a pool of offering free schooling to those who go into the medical field.

Number 5. All insurance plans including Medicare offer Dental, Eyeglasses, and Hearing aids.

SNAP, Social Security, and Medicaid, are next on the list for DOGE. This will have many on the left upping the meds.  “According to the GAO’s own figures, there’s anywhere from $230 billion to $520 billion in fraudulent payments in [social welfare] programs across the board. So, the money is there if it’s looked at.”

Going after fraud in programs such as Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, and SNAP is not the same thing as “cutting benefits,” as Elon Musk and the Trump administration have tried to stress. Politically, Democrats see a potential wedge issue if they can persuade large numbers of Americans that their benefits will be cut. That was, for example, the reason Texas Democratic Rep. Al Green yelled at President Trump during his recent address to Congress, for which he was censured the next day.

Fraud is always a problem in government social welfare programs.

The “Biden-Harris HQ,” which is an official arm of the Biden campaign, found itself facing pushback after it claimed Fox News’ John Roberts had told a “blatant lie” regarding Trump and insulin prices. Here’s what the post, which still hasn’t been deleted or corrected, looked like.

A Fox news reporter did a story where he mentioned that President Trump signed an executive order on how voluntarily Insulin charges were capped at $35.00. Biden Harris called this a lie. Stated Biden capped Insulin charges not Trump.

Joe lied when he said he wouldn’t touch Medicare. This is the second year in a row he has cut it. Old Joe is being sneaky hoping seniors won’t know until January that they’re getting benifit cuts if they’re in Medicare Advantage plans.

Don’t think that just Republicans are going to see a increase of almost $400.00 a year. The change underlines the growing debate over the future of Medicare Advantage, a program that now enrolls over half of all Medicare recipients

Medicare Advantage outperforms Medicare on 16 different clinical quality measures. More than 33 million seniors and people with disabilities choose MA because it delivers better service, better access to care, and better value.
