PSA Alternative Electricity Supplier Scam

If you live in a state that allows you to choose your supplier (as distinct from the distributor — the company you pay your bill to) you will find those alternative suppliers sending you offers to entice you to switch. Often they will emphasize they use renewable energy or some such. And their rate per Kwh may be less than you pay now.

These offers can be — to put it mildly — deceptive.

I use one such alternative supplier, but not the one in the picture below, and thought this was from them:

Notice the first box, “This is our way of THANKING you for ENJOYING 6 months of SmartEnergy…” Both capitalized verbs are in the present, NOT future tense. As such, one could rationally assume (if you did have an alternative supplier), that this was the promised reward.

This ‘we are looking forward’ sentence reinforces that.

But this is not a reward for being a customer at all, it is a PLOY to get you to sign up with their company., so that they can switch your supplier.

When you call the number listed, they will try to get you to switch companies using weasel-worded phrases to keep you thinking you’re already a customer. In fact, it wasn’t until they kept asking for my West Penn account number that alarm bells went off. Why would they need the account number again since that’s how they get paid? Well, after much arguing and deflections, it turned out that they were NOT my current supplier. Surprise, surprise.

I had received similar notices, but the words ‘AFTER 6 months’ had always been in the notice. This is deceptive advertising, and I forcibly told them so.

Caveat emptor!

I’m sure you saw or heard that the FBI director claimed that it may not have been a bullet that hit President Trumps ear, but shrapnel. That set off the crazy loons on X and obscure websites. So what was it?

Well, the FBI came out and said it was a bullet. I understand why the fanatics got it wrong, but for the Director to put out fake news?

FBI confirmed Friday that it was indeed a bullet that struck the former president’s ear, moving to clear up conflicting accounts about what caused the former president’s injuries after a gunman opened fire at a Pennsylvania rally.

“What struck former President Trump in the ear was a bullet, whether whole or fragmented into smaller pieces, fired from the deceased subject’s rifle,” the agency said in a statement.

Just watched the Joe Biden endorsement speech, closely. That ain’t Joe.

Other people have expressed doubts, but I saw proof.

First of all, he’s never given a speech from the actual Oval Office; it’s always been that set. So, first evidence: backdrops don’t move. Period, full stop. Second, why wait three days to make a public, televised announcement?

This link is from the left-leaning outlet The Hill:

You may need to take the video to full screen but watch the lower center window pane segment screen right: it’s MOVING noticeably! None of the other panes in the window show any motion. Why? Because it’s a still picture! This is evidence of AI/CGI being used.

More proof, watch where his hair is atop his head and the set behind it. Instead of a clear break like you would expect (like the clear demarcation from his suit to the background ), there’s an interference pattern. Another sign of bad CGI. And what’s with the heavy black line between his neck and his collar? More evidence of a cut-and-paste job.

So is this another person with Joe’s face pasted on it? You tell me. They did it with Peter Cushing and Carrie Fisher (not to mention Mark Hamill) and to de-age Jeff Bridges for the Tron sequel. But they dodn’t have Hollywood $$$ to do it right. This was obviously a rush job.

Is this REALLY Joe Biden??

(I will give them kudos for color-correcting his artificial tan from glaring orange to a more realistic hue, even though it just proves more image manipulation is being used.)

Finally — and most obviously — this “Joe Biden” never stutters, never loses his train of thought, never says ‘um,’ or ‘you know’ and is coherent for OVER ELEVEN MINUTES! The same guy who had a hard time producing three coherent sentences in a row just days before.

I recently saw — and reported — a short on YouTube that supposedly had Jordan Peterson as the narrator. (Peterson is a Canadian Psychologist that got in trouble with the Federal Government for refusing to tow the government’s propaganda line.) HOWEVER, it had nothing to do with ANYTHING Peterson has ever spoken about on hundreds of YouTube videos. Normal AI Text to speech bots can be detected when it uses incorrect contextual pronunciations for words like “live.” I didn’t catch any of these simple errors, but the whole narration seemed off.

This is a deep fake, NOT the real Joe Biden.

And, one must presume that the actual Joe Biden is a.) still alive at all;  b.) not bed ridden already OR secured in a chair where – if he does manage to get up – sounds an alarm to alert the staff; and c.) is even aware of what day it is. Which is impossible to determine.

Hamas flags, slogans about killing Jews, harassment of @CapitolPolice officers, vandalism, burnt American flags, & hanged effigies of PM Netanyahu. These are just some of the appalling scenes at protests around the U.S. Capitol today.

“Pro-terror, anti-Israel agitators are vandalizing federal property, removing American flags, and replacing them with Palestinian flags steps away from the United States Capitol,” said Sen. John Barrasso (R-Wyo.), a member of Senate GOP leadership, on X. “This is inexcusable, and I expect them to be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.”

The U.S. Capitol Police said in a statement that “no flags under our protection have been removed or vandalized” though non-Capitol Police officers were seen making mass arrests near Union Station after the speech.

Short and sweet. Court rules that Trump case against ABC, George Stephanopoulos can move forward. I have to believe that this comes as a total shock to those who are involved. Ten times George repeated the lie.

The lawsuit stems from comments Stephanopoulos made in March when he falsely asserted that Trump was found “liable for rape” in a civil case against the Republican White House hopeful.

“A jury may, upon viewing the segment, find there was sufficient context. But a reasonable jury could conclude Plaintiff was defamed and, as a result, dismissal is inappropriate,” Judge Cecilia Altonaga of United States District Court in Miami ruled Wednesday.

So, Harris had a huge crowd in a Wisconsin high school gym. Huge. Bigly. 3,000 people. Counting the MSM. She also had a few things to say that need fact checked.

She claims to have shut down Trump University done as AG. She was AG starting in 2011. Trump University shut down in 2010. I guess the folks at Trump University saw her coming.

The billion-dollar oil profit she said Trump was giving to big oil. WP wrote that Trump was talking about relaxation of taxes and regulations.

Harris also suggested that Trump “intends to cut Social Security and Medicare”. However, Trump’s policy platform states he would not introduce cuts to Social Security or Medicare. Point 14 of the agenda says his administration would “fight for and protect Social Security and Medicare with no cuts, including no changes to the retirement age.”

Biden Harris administration has cut Medicare Advantage the past two years and starting next year those on Social Security will see their Medicare Advantage go up almost $400.00.

  • 49% were naturalized U.S. citizens.
  • 24% were lawful permanent residents.
  • 4% were legal temporary residents.
  • 23% were unauthorized immigrants.

From 1990 to 2007, the unauthorized immigrant population more than tripled in size, from 3.5 million to a record high of 12.2 million. From there, the number slowly declined to about 10.2 million in 2019.

In 2022, the number of unauthorized immigrants in the U.S. showed sustained growth for the first time since 2007, to 11.o million.

As of 2022, about 4 million unauthorized immigrants in the U.S. are Mexican. This is the largest number of any origin country, representing more than one-third of all unauthorized immigrants. However, the Mexican unauthorized immigrant population is down from a peak of almost 7 million in 2007, when Mexicans accounted for 57% of all unauthorized immigrants.

The drop in the number of unauthorized immigrants from Mexico has been partly offset by growth from other parts of the world, especially Asia and other parts of Latin America.

The 2022 estimates of the unauthorized immigrant population are our latest comprehensive estimates. Other partial data sources suggest continued growth in 2023 and 2024.

Who are unauthorized immigrants?

Virtually all unauthorized immigrants living in the U.S. entered the country without legal permission or arrived on a nonpermanent visa and stayed after it expired.

A growing number of unauthorized immigrants have permission to live and work in the U.S. and are temporarily protected from deportation. In 2022, about 3 million unauthorized immigrants had these temporary legal protections. These immigrants fall into several groups:

  • Temporary Protected Status (TPS): About 650,000 immigrants have TPS as of July 2022. TPS is offered to individuals who cannot safely return to their home country because of civil unrest, violence, natural disaster or other extraordinary and temporary conditions.
  • Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program (DACA): Almost 600,000 immigrants are beneficiaries of DACA. This program allows individuals brought to the U.S. as children before 2007 to remain in the U.S.
  • Asylum applicants: About 1.6 million immigrants have pending applications for asylum in the U.S. as of mid-2022 because of dangers faced in their home country. These immigrants can stay in the U.S. legally while they wait for a decision on their case.

The Mistake the Democrats made. Ignoring RFK JR and others.

Now that Biden dropped out, the Democrats are talking about their deep bench. Pelosi wants to use that bench instead of Harris. Obama is doing a wait and see.

RFK JR and other Democrats knew Biden’s elevator was stuck in the basement. But the powers to be stopped any serious opposition to Joe. Especially RFK JR. Except for his crazy stance on all vaccines, he is a Socialist, Liberal Democrat. So reap what you sow Democrats.
