A nutty professor in Texas wants to rename the University of Houston after a deceased hard core criminal. George Floyd.The ‘Socialism 2025’ conference happened over the weekend. To no one’s surprise, many of the attendees were far left college professors.

University of Houston professor David McNally proposed renaming his school to “George Floyd University” and abolishing tuition and grades at the Socialism 2025 conference Saturday. See his crime record below.

And on the night of his death?

Store surveillance footage did capture George Floyd inside Cup Foods on May 25, 2020. According to trial testimony and reports, Floyd was seen in the store for about 10 minutes, during which he purchased cigarettes using a $20 bill that the cashier believed was counterfeit.

The cashier, Christopher Martin, testified that he examined the bill and thought it looked suspicious—describing it as having a blue tint—but accepted it anyway, knowing store policy would dock his paycheck if it turned out to be fake1. After second-guessing himself, he informed his manager, who then instructed staff to ask Floyd to return to the store. When Floyd declined, the manager directed them to call the police.
