CBS has no say so. Paramount trying to end the attack on Trump.
The past six months or so, folks at CBS forgot that they don’t get to slander folks without consequences. Trump filed a lawsuit and Paramount cried uncle.
The lawsuit stems from CBS’ “60 Minutes” interview with Kamala Harris last fall, which the president claims were deceitfully edited. Trump is asking for $25 million to settle and an apology from the news network, WSJ reports.
CBS cried foul and Paramount quietly got rid of several folks. OK they resigned. I guess they didn’t want to be fired. Winning.
