You make the call. Afghan Accused of Election Day Terror Plot Worked for CIA. Was he going after Trump or Harris? The below article is a reprint from NewsMax.
An Afghan man accused of plotting a terror attack on Election Day previously worked as a security guard in Afghanistan for the CIA, NBC News reported Wednesday.
Nasir Ahmad Tawhedi, 27, was arrested on Monday in Oklahoma on charges of planning to kill American citizens on behalf of the terror group ISIS.
Court documents indicated that Tawhedi planned to attack on Nov. 5, Election Day, and he confirmed to authorities in an interview conducted after his arrest that he intended to target large gatherings of people and expected to die a martyr.
One senior administration official told NBC News that counterterrorism officials surmised that Tawhedi became radicalized while he was living in the United States. He entered the country in September 2021, according to court documents.
“Every Afghan resettled in the U.S. undergoes a rigorous screening and vetting process no matter which agency they worked with,” the official said. “That process includes checking against a full range of U.S. records and holdings.”
NBC News reported that Tawhedi passed two rounds of vetting with no derogatory information found and, according to a source, was first screened before he entered the U.S. on humanitarian parole.
Tawhedi was vetted again when he applied for a Special Immigrant Visa, for which he was eligible because he worked for the U.S. government. Although he was approved for the visa, an official told NBC News he had not yet completed it.
The Justice Department’s charging document said Tawhedi entered the U.S. on a Special Immigrant Visa “and is currently on parole status pending adjudication of his immigrant proceedings.”
But two U.S. officials with knowledge of the matter told NBC News that the charging document is incorrect and Tawhedi entered the U.S. on humanitarian parole, which usually entails much less rigorous vetting than a Special Immigrant Visa.
According to authorities, Tawhedi planned the attack with a juvenile co-conspirator, who was described as an Afghan national with legal permanent resident status.
The criminal complaint alleged that Tawhedi and his co-conspirator advertised the sale of the family’s personal property on Facebook before the planned attack. After a confidential FBI informant responded to inquire if a computer was still for sale, Tawhedi and the juvenile met with the source, who claimed he needed the computer for a new gun business he was starting.
Tawhedi and the juvenile were arrested Monday after meeting with the confidential informant and purchasing two AK-47 rifles, 10 magazines, and 500 rounds of ammunition.
House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., took to X on Wednesday to decry the Biden-Harris administration’s vetting process of the tens of thousands of Afghans who relocated to the U.S. following the withdrawal of American forces from the country in August 2021.
“Following the botched Afghanistan withdrawal, more than 77K Afghans were given humanitarian parole, with little to no vetting and no intent to know their whereabouts,” Johnson wrote. “Nasir Ahmad Tawhedi – the terrorist plotting an election day attack – was one of them.
“Whether it’s their open-border policies or failed foreign policy, this administration continues to risk American lives by allowing terrorists, murderers, rapists, and other violent criminals into our homeland.”
Tawhedi was charged with conspiring and attempting to provide material support to ISIS, which if he is convicted carries a maximum sentence of 20 years, and receiving a firearm to be used to commit a felony or a federal crime of terrorism, which carries a maximum sentence of 15 years.
Beating the left in court. Amsterdam NY was like one of the Midwest rustbelt cities. Their manufacturing was gone and all that was left was empty buildings.
Anthony Constantino has been buying the old buildings and brining back manufacturing. So far1,500 jobs. In the one building he put his company Sticker Mule. On top of it he put a huge Vote Trump sign.
The leftist mayor went to court and got a temporary injunction. Supporters of the former president in upstate New York won a last-minute court victory allowing them to illuminate a 100-foot wide “Vote for Trump” sign — despite their city’s effort to block the massive political endorsement.
The judge lifted the temporary restraining order in the nick of time, after hearing oral arguments on the case, ending at around 5:30 p.m. Monday. The mayor and lawyers claimed the sign posed a risk to the drivers on the highway. The judge agreed to vacate her prior order on the grounds that the sign is sufficiently far from highways and doesn’t pose a danger.

Progressive Supporters of Harris mourn the death of Hezbollah Terrorist in Dearborn. It’s bad when several US media outlets did an obituary for one of the Terrorists, but now Harris supports have a religious service honoring this person?
On Saturday, a memorial service for slain Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah took place at the Hadi Youth Community Center in Dearborn, Michigan. The event, which was live-streamed on YouTube, featured fiery speeches from local religious leaders and activists who praised Nasrallah and Iran’s leadership while condemning America.
Imam Usama Abdulghani, who led the memorial, declared that Nasrallah was now “happy,” and that his martyrdom “at the hands of the wickedest and most evil of Allah’s creations” was a “reward” from Allah for all of the “jihad’ he has waged.
You make the call. Was or wasn’t he? There was a stink about weather JD Vance and his followers weren’t welcome at a restaurant I know so well. A former customer of mine.
To me the evidence is here in these tweets and Corporates statement on what happened. Was or wasn’t he and his supporters denied full access to the restaurant. You make the call.
Person in the restaurant as JD got to the Restaurant.
Worse than Springfield, Ohio. Charleroi, Pennsylvania. Undocumented Hell.
This hits close to home for me because back in the 90’s I worked out of Charleroi. I have good friends who live and work there. A small town of about 4,000 flooded with the undocumented who are given temporary amnesty to take the few jobs that are left.
At one time the town was 70% homes and 30% rentals. A city councilman said that’s now flipflopped. Because longtime residents have up and moved away and rental corporations have spent millions buying up homes to convert them into rentals to get the government subsidized money that follows the migrants. Oh, and the small Latino population have fled from the Haitian and Liberian undocumented brought in by Harris and Biden.
Tell me again why we’re better off now?
Fanatics on the left keep telling us how good things are today vs four years ago. Oh really? Let’s take a look.
Overall, food prices have risen about 22.8% in the last four years, based on a FOX Business analysis. That figure is roughly in line with the rise in meat prices in that time span, which are up nearly 22.6% since 2020.
Egg prices have skyrocketed more than 60.7% since August 2020 — due in part to an outbreak of avian influenza that impacted production in 2022, as well as rising costs for feed, energy and labor.
Other food categories have seen more modest price growth in the last four years, as dairy products are up 16% while fruits and vegetables are up about 13.8%.
Shelter prices have increased nearly 23.4% since August 2020, with rents for primary residences up by a similar amoun
Overall energy costs have increased about 42.4% over the past four years, with fuel oil spiking 70.3%.
New vehicles are up 19.5%, while prices for used cars and trucks have risen over 17.9% since August 2020. Auto insurance prices have surged by nearly 52.4% since that time.
Health care costs have increased at a slower rate than other categories, as prices for medical care services are up about 7.4% since August 2020, although prices for hospital services are up more than 17.8%.
Prices for education and communication services — a category that includes tuition and fees for various levels of schooling as well as internet, telephone and postage services — are up about 7.9% compared with four years ago.
Airline fares have risen nearly 21.7% since August 2020.
So, what did we learn from the debate?
The most obvious was that Trump was debating three people, not just Harris. Two moderators who would fact check Trump (falsely) but did not fact check Harris. A moderator who lied that no state allows abortion after birth, but yet Axios reports that six states plus DC have no restrictions at all. Later it was revealed it’s actually nine.
Now last night CNN revealed that their poll conducted following the recent presidential debate between former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris revealed that Trump’s lead over Harris on the critical issue of the economy has grown. The percentage of debate watchers who trust Trump more on handling the economy rose from 16% to 20%, further solidifying his reputation in this key area.
The CNN poll results suggest that Trump’s economic message continues to resonate with a significant portion of the electorate, particularly as economic concerns such as inflation and job security remain at the forefront of voters’ minds.
What the Jobs report really shows us. It’s not good.
For those who follow the economy, the latest job report is not a pretty picture. I’m sure you saw last week where we were told that from last March to this March, the jobs report was off by eight hundred thousand jobs. Yes, eight hundred thousand less jobs than what was reported.
Yesterday’s report for August continued that bad news. Not only did the government miss August’s numbers by about 20,000, but the numbers for June and July were off by about one hundred thousand.
Finally, over four hundred thousand full time jobs were replaced last month with over five hundred thousand part time jobs.
