The governor had previously said that the first batch of a COVID-19 vaccine will be about 30,000 doses. Health care workers in the state will also be some of the first to receive the vaccine, the governor said. We have this from the governor.

“We were told yesterday (the first batch) would be Pfizer,” the governor said. “The Moderna is scheduled – this is assuming everything gets approved when they think it’s going to – Moderna would be a week later.”

“People need to understand that it will take two shots: the first one, and then the next one three or four weeks later,” DeWine said.

I look forward to the day all women come to their senses. The number of new, pro-life Republican women elected to the House of Representatives has climbed further, and now stands at 16, with the possibility of three more joining the group.

We hear it all the time from Progressives. Let’s pass more laws on killing babies. Or Let’s make abortion even after birth. I always wondered why didn’t their parents feel the same way?

Additional races have yet to be decided, and pro-life leaders hope the number will expand even more. Pro-abortion Democrats still control the U.S. House, but their majority is thinning.

 

In a story about the upcoming 117th Congress, which convenes Jan. 3, The Christian Post reports the GOP will nearly double its pro-life lawmakers from 13 to 24. All of those freshman GOP lawmakers are women.

Pro-life group Susan B. Anthony List told CP the wave of pro-life women is a “stunning blow to Nancy Pelosi and her pro-abortion agenda.”

“These are all strong women that reject the left’s version of feminism,” Jessica Anderson of Heritage Action for America  reports. “They support having a family, love of country, they’re pro-life, and they’re eager to lead … in Washington.”

Federal and local law enforcement officers cracked down on human/sex trafficking in Ohio Blue cities and counties. 174 arrests were made in heavy blue areas. Columbus ( Franklin county ), Cleveland ( Cuyahoga county), Toledo ( Lucas county ) Akron ( Summit county ), and Youngstown ( Mahoning county ).

Operation Autumn Hope, coordinated through AG Yost’s Ohio Organized Crime Investigations Commission, encompassed more than 50 law enforcement agencies and non-government partners to break the cycle that fuels sex trafficking across the state. The broad-based effort, carried out in various parts of the state simultaneously, identified four priorities:

In all, 109 human trafficking victims were rescued and referred to social services, the Ohio Attorney General’s Office reported. More than 50 agencies participated in the operation,

A man after my own heart. Arnold Schwarzenegger undergoes heart surgery. As you may or may not know, I had open heart surgery back in September of 2017. As Arnold did, I had mine done at the Cleveland Clinic. You may or may not know, the Cleveland Clinic is the number one hospital in the country when it comes to matters of the heart.

They did a less-invasive catheter valve replacement. Meaning he wasn’t cut open. Schwarzenegger’s last heart surgery was in 2018. He had to replace a pulmonic valve that was originally replaced in 1997 due to a congenital heart defect. The former governor of California has spoken about how heart problems run in his family.

In a 2016 interview on In Depth With Graham Bensinger, Schwarzenegger said his late mother’s heart had two valves that “didn’t really work well.” His grandmother, who died at the age of 67, also had a valve problem. Schwarzenegger recalled how he had life-threatening surgery less than 24 hours after his first heart procedure “failed.”

The surgical team that did my surgery consisted of 11 people. A less-invasive catheter valve replacement was out of the question for me since I also needed an  aneurysm repaired.I was up walking the same day. But unlike Arnold’s picture, I had a bunch more monitors hooked up to me. I spent five days in ICU. Went home the fifth day, and I was out walking the streets of my neighborhood.

I would like to address my lurkers. Do you actually think that anyone believes you?

I would like to address my lurkers. Do you actually think that anyone believes you? Now what and who are the lurkers here? My definition is a bit different. There’s a group of about six who come from two different blogs. Now they have never posted on any of my channels, but they come over on a daily basis. They then go back to their channels and do articles about myself and others who post on my channels. Or they copy articles that have already been written about here or the Sentry Bugle.

Don’t get me wrong. They’re welcome here, and I have no issues with them posting here. If they can be civil. Same rules for everyone. But here’s what got me to writing this article.

I got an e-mail that showed me a few comments on what I think are two different articles. In both a person mentions that they have only lurked here once. Now I have some expensive software that was purchased. One being disqus pro. Everyone who comes here it tracks. Here’s their comments.

Now I have in the past mentioned that the one person was here 2,000 times and the other over 1,000 times. So I went back a few months to see if they still lurk here.

Again like I said, they’re welcome to stop in if they wish. But I just wish they would be honest and open about it. Oh and when they use their socks or VPN? I have software that catches that also.

The news of Trump’s positive test came hours after it was earlier confirmed that his close aide Hope Hicks had tested positive for the virus earlier on Thursday after exhibiting symptoms during Trump’s trip to Duluth, Minnesota, for a rally on Wednesday night.

Hicks had accompanied the president on that trip, and previously to the debate in Cleveland, Ohio, on Tuesday night. The president faced Democrat candidate former Vice President Joe Biden on Tuesday night in that debate.

Trump’s announcement that he has contracted coronavirus after had earlier told Fox News’ Sean Hannity that he and the First Lady would go into quarantine after exposure to Hicks. He also tweeted that earlier in the evening:

President Donald Trump has been nominated for the 2021 Nobel Peace Prize, just weeks after helping to broker peace between Israel and the United Arab Emirates.

He was nominated by Christian Tybring-Gjedde, a member of the Norwegian Parliament, who praised Trump for his efforts towards resolving conflicts worldwide.

‘For his merit, I think he has done more trying to create peace between nations than most other Peace Prize nominees.”

Four U.S. presidents have won the Nobel Peace Prize, which is determined by the five-person Nobel Committee, which is appointed by the Norwegian Parliament.

Barack Obama won in 2009, Theodore Roosevelt in 1906, President Woodrow Wilson in 1920 and President Jimmy Carter in 2002. The 2021 winner will not be announced until October next year.

Now they’re hating on 911. American flags must come down.

Since the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, American flag displays have adorned New Jersey highway overpasses as a spontaneous outpouring of patriotism and support.

Some were hung and forgotten, others were meticulously maintained much like the display of American and military flags on poles at the New Jersey Turnpike Authority overpass south of exit 11 in Woodbridge. But now, the New Jersey Turnpike Authority wants the flags gone. We have this from the Turnpike Commission.

“While we appreciate the desire of some New Jersey residents to express their patriotism in these turbulent times by displaying flags on Turnpike and Parkway overpasses, Authority regulations do not allow it, and for good reason,” said Tom Feeney, a Turnpike Authority spokesman. “The NJTA cannot adequately monitor flags mounted by private citizens to make sure they are safely and securely hung, properly displayed, and respectfully maintained.”

Two Central Jersey lawmakers said they plan to change that statute to keep the unofficial flags flying. Senator Declan O’Scanlon and Assemblywoman Serena DiMaso, both R-Monmouth, plan to introduce a bill to exempt display of American flags from the statute and asked Gov. Phil Murphy to intervene.

How many years not have those flags been flying? Now it’s an issue?
