The Michigan Supreme Court on Monday ruled Robert F. Kennedy Jr. must stay on the state’s ballot even though he suspended his campaign. So, how’s this different from what Joe Biden did?
Maybe states that have Republican Secretaries of state should put Biden’s name back on the ballot. Wouldn’t that be fair? If Kennedy must stay on the ballot, then the same should be for Biden’s name to remain on the ballot.
What’s interesting is that Michigan tried to keep him off the ballot when he decided not to run, but now Michigan refuses to remove him from the ballot.

A three-judge panel of the Second Circuit held Wednesday that Rakoff had acted improperly and ordered a new trial.

We conclude that the district court’s Rule 50 ruling improperly intruded on the province of the jury by making credibility determinations, weighing evidence, and ignoring facts or inferences that a reasonable juror could plausibly have found to support Palin’s case.

A U.S. District Judge has officially dropped key federal charges against former Louisville Police Detective Joshua Jaynes and Former Sgt. Kyle Meany regarding their alleged ‘involvement’ in Breonna Taylor’s death, which occurred back in 2020. Good Shoot.
This week, U.S. District Judge Charles Simpson ruled that the officers in the case were not responsible for Taylor’s death, instead laying the blame at the feet of her criminal boyfriend, who opened fire on police the night of the raid.
Federal Judge rules RFK Jr. can sue Biden administration over alleged censorship of charity that questions vaccines.
A judge has temporarily halted enforcement of a Colorado ban on what experts consider unproven treatments to reverse medical abortions at a religious clinic that alleged in a lawsuit that the newly signed law violated its Constitutional rights.
Judge Daniel Domenico, who noted that Colorado is the only state to ban the treatment, issued the temporary restraining order over the weekend after Bella Health and Wellness argued that barring them from prescribing the so-called “abortion pill reversal” treatment violates their First Amendment right to free speech and religious exercise.

Former Ohio congressman and two-time Democratic presidential candidate Dennis Kucinich told Newsmax that “people from inside the government were trying to undercut” former president Donald Trump’s presidency in a way that was “un-American.”
“Whether you’re a Democrat, Republican, or independent, when someone is elected president, the country is supposed to get behind him or her. And that didn’t happen,” Kucinich, former campaign manager for Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s recently suspended campaign, told “Rob Schmitt Tonight.”
Kucinich said Kennedy, who endorsed Trump after suspending his campaign Friday, tried to run inside the Democratic Party.
“He began his campaign as a Democrat — a Kennedy Democrat, nonetheless. The minute that he said that roadblocks were put in his way, the DNC [Democratic National Committee] immediately moved the Biden headquarters into the DNC headquarters,” he said.
“And I will tell you, one of the landmark decisions that is reverberating through this whole election, the DNC decided in the primary there wouldn’t be any debates.”
Kucinich said that decision was in response to the known weaknesses of President Joe Biden.
“They knew he was done. They knew the weaknesses. And so what happened is they scheduled a debate before the convention, so that he could be pushed aside.”
“Now, this whole process was aimed at blocking any real competition inside the Democratic Party,” Kucinich said, calling the ways the DNC blocked Kennedy and other candidates from getting on the ballot “unbelievable.”

The BBC did a fact check on what Harris has been saying. And of course, her lies were sugar coated, but you can see that she wasn’t being truthful.
CLAIM: “Donald Trump intends to cut Social Security and Medicare.”
VERDICT: This is misleading. In this campaign, Mr. Trump has said repeatedly he would not do this.
“I will not cut 1 cent from Social Security or Medicare,” Mr. Trump said at a rally on 5 August.
And in his 20 point policy platform, one of the pledges is: “Fight for and protect Social Security and Medicare with no cuts.”
CLAIM: “Inflation is down under 3%.”
VERDICT: That figure is correct, but some context is needed here. Inflation is down from a peak of 9.1% under the Biden administration and it is higher than when Mr. Trump left office.
When President Biden took office in January 2021, inflation was 1.4% but it rose significantly during the first two years of his administration. While the Biden administration had limited control over these external factors, some economists say that their 2021 American Rescue Plan, worth $1.9tn (£1.5tn), also contributed to rising prices.

In Southern California your electric bill is based on not only how much you use, but when you use it.
SoCal utility company Southern California Edison (SCE) charges its customers more for energy use during ‘peak hours’ with its “Time of Use” pricing system.
Customers pay higher rates if they use electricity during different times of day. This incentivizes people NOT to use energy during the hottest times of the day.
Energy is energy but the utility company is punishing their customers and charging more money for air conditioning during peak heat waves!

If your electric bill this month was sky high, it wasn’t just scorching summer heat that was to blame, and you’re NOT alone. Many Southern California Edison customers are feeling the heat living with the TOU pricing system: That’s ‘Time of Use.’
Put into effect in 2020 and 2021, TOU pricing is exactly what it says: You pay different rates for your electricity depending on the time of day you are using it. As SCE puts it, it costs more to produce and deliver electricity during different times of day, so this is supposed to provide “an incentive for customers to shift electricity use away from more expensive peak hours.”
SCE admits rates will generally be higher during summer weekday afternoons. If you run the AC, work at home, do laundry during those hours, you are paying MORE than if you wait and do those things during later or off-peak hours.
One SCE customer, Carla Chang wrote to KTLA: “Hello! Please look into whyyyyyy Edison is charging so much for electricity. People are receiving $600-$1000 bills.”
Sarah Clifford sent us her bill which was $1128 this month alone, and Sara says that’s the “discounted rate.” Sarah says she keeps her thermostat at 78 degrees whenever possible.
Melissa Avalos says, “There has been a rise in our electricity bills that is beyond this earth. We went from paying $86 dollars a month to $400 dollars a month and don’t even run our air at night. Something needs to be done as we are seniors and barely making enough to cover this increase.”
