On Sunday, the sidewalks outside of Georgetown’s Call Your Mother Deli were briefly filled by men in dark suits wearing earpieces, and the presidential motorcade of Joe Biden.
Returning from Holy Trinity Catholic Church in the Georgetown neighborhood, having attended his first mass after being sworn in as president, Mr Biden and family stopped to pick up an order.
Mr Biden did not leave his car, but his son Hunter was seen going inside and collecting the items.

The federal government’s 60-day suspension of new oil and gas leasing and drilling permits on public lands sent shockwaves through the industry in New Mexico and divided industry experts over potential impacts.
“It’s very much putting politics above science,” said Ryan Flynn, president and CEO of the New Mexico Oil and Gas Association.
Tax revenues would drop by up to $10.8 billion in New Mexico, North Dakota, Utah, Wyoming, Colorado, Montana, California and Alaska, read the study, by the end of Biden’s first term – states that make up 75 percent of U.S. onshore fossil fuel production.
By 2040, such policy would cause the U.S. Gross Domestic Product (GDP) to decline by $670.5 billion and see up to 351,000 jobs lost across the west, the study read.
Why did this happen? Like Governors from a few other states, Cuomo by executive order decided to change the law. The law voted by a state legislature controlled by Democrats. This from FOX.
So for the first time in New York’s history, the county boards of elections were forced to contend with essentially three elections: early voting during a presidential year; running Election Day with a record turnout; and handling a record number of absentee ballots due to the coronavirus pandemic, involving figuring out how to “cure” any flawed ballots.
Many of the boards — especially Oneida County’s — didn’t do their jobs properly.
Oneida County, the district’s largest and centered around the city of Utica, saw election commissioners use sticky notes to keep track of the reasons why Tenney and Brindisi lawyers disputed dozens of ballots. But many of those sticky notes fell off, so for some it’s impossible to know whether a challenged ballot has been counted or not.
A full recount of disputed ballots in the eight counties in the congressional district has been completed. It shows former Republican Rep. Claudia Tenney defeating former Democratic Rep. Anthony Brindisi by just over 30 votes out of more than 311,000 cast.
But the recount is only one step in a grueling process that will probably keep the House seat vacant for weeks longer. On Monday, State Supreme Court Justice Scott DelConte will begin going through 1,028 disputed ballots and rule on which should be counted.
Two weeks ago it was discovered that Oneida County’s elections board had failed to process 2,418 voter registration forms from voters who signed up on time through the Department of Motor Vehicles.
When many of those voters showed up at the polls they were told they weren’t registered. Hundreds left without voting, while some 300 filed provisional ballots that weren’t counted.
Now Justice DelConte says he will decide which of the new ballots will be counted. Whatever his ruling, it will be appealed. Ultimately, the closely divided House of Representatives controlled by Democrats will decide if it will seat the winner or conduct its own second-guessing investigation.
Here’s what’s sad. After the judge rules, there will still be an appeal.

We have over 75 million followers. That number is our floor, not our ceiling. Our ranks are growing every day. The more our ruling class attempts to suppress us, the faster our movement will grow. Remember when the left used to warn us, “Don’t mistreat terrorists. They’ll use it as a recruiting tool.” They were right, and it applies here too.
Republicans control a majority of state governments now. Republicans control 32 upper chambers (versus 18 for Democrats) and 30 lower chambers (versus 19 for Democrats and one TBD in Alaska). Republicans are in the driver’s seat for reapportionment. They’ve been on the receiving end of gerrymandering for a long time. Now it’s their turn.
Getting the message out there is what’s needed. So as the MSM will do cover ups for the Biden administration, Conservative venues like ours will call them out.
CNN is under fire for publishing an anonymously sourced “scoop” that the Biden administration will have to “build everything from scratch” because there was no Trump plan to distribute coronavirusvaccines, when reality tells a far different story.
A CNN producer pushed the story from reporter MJ Lee as a “great SCOOP” on “how bad this situation is with vaccine distribution.” The story quoted anonymous figures with knowledge of the administration’s COVID-related work as saying there was “nothing for us to rework” and there was no plan at all: “just further affirmation of complete incompetence.”
Politico editor Sam Stein said the assertions in the story were “not true,” as a distribution plan was part of the Trump administration’s Operation Warp Speed.
“Biden folks are spinning here or trying to lower the bar strategically,” he tweeted. “There was, indeed, a plan from Trump. I listened in on govs calls on vaccine distribution.

President-elect Joe Biden released his long-awaited stimulus proposal last Thursday that contained an inauspicious provision for millions of Americans expecting additional $2,000 stimulus checks. Instead of that long-promised amount, Biden’s proposal only calls for an additional $1,400 stimulus payment.
Oscar Zaro voted for the Democratic Party slate during the recent Senate runoff election. He lives in Hiram, Georgia, just outside of Powder Springs.
A Democratic voter in the typically red 14th Congressional District, which is currently represented by QAnon Rep. Marjorie Taylor-Greene, Zaro said that Georgians in the 14th were spurred on to vote more Democratic than usual this year due, in part, to the promise of “$2,000 checks” by Warnock and Ossoff.
“The last few weeks heading towards the runoff election, especially after Trump endorsed the $2,000 payments, Warnock and Ossoff made it a point to endorse and exclusively say ‘$2,000 checks,’” he said. “A lot of the people in my district voted blue in the runoff for two main reasons: (1) Loeffler and Perdue denying us relief during COVID while profiting millions themselves; and (2) $2,000 checks.”
“They really underestimate just how much people are hurting economically,” Zaro added, referring to Democrats who he views as reneging on their word.
Democrats on the campaign trail repeatedly referenced “$2,000 checks” during the final stages of the Senate runoffs — immediately seizing upon the populist issue after President Donald Trump threatened to veto the most recent stimulus package, in part, over a professed belief that the $600 payments were not generous enough.
“I don’t know where President Trump has been for the last eight months, while his allies in the U.S. Senate have been blocking this relief,” Ossoff said the same night the 45th president brought the issue to the fore. “Trump is, as ever, erratic and all over the place, but on this point, tonight, he’s right. $600 is a joke. They should send $2,000 checks to the American people right now because people are hurting.”
Georgia Democrats have reportedly already begun fuming over their two new senators, the Rev. Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff, who were sworn in Wednesday by Vice President Kamala Harris, according to a new report.
Both men narrowly won hard-fought races against Republican incumbents in the Peach State, winning control of the Senate for the Democrats in the process.
But a major issue raised by critics is that President Biden espoused a coronavirus relief plan that would send $1,400 checks to many Americans – while Warnock and Ossoff campaigned on a $2,000 promise.
