Get over it Virginia, California is seeing the light.
So we saw that ten counties that voted for Biden in 2020 would have nothing to do with toxic spill Harris. Trump turned those ten to the pretties shade of red.
Those counties include Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, Inyo, Fresno, Merced, Butte, Nevada, San Joaquin, and Stanislaus counties.
Sorry Virginia, but this is funny. They’re going crazy in the land of the zombies. Harris deniers are demanding a recount or some kind of audit. They have been all over twitter. And the tweets are getting millions of views. I’m sorry, but that’s hilarious.
To my lurkers on the left. The election of 2024 was “the most secure in American history.”
There were numerous reasons why Trump was elected President. But one that sticks out are the Culture wars that Harris embraced. Ann Coulter says it best. Here is how you wage a culture war:
You ban teachers from telling parents that their child has “changed” his gender. You require everyone around that child to adhere to the child’s new counterfactual “pronouns.” You pass regulations making opposition to male athletes competing against female athletes in female sports a civil rights offense. You assign graphic novels depicting sex, in this case, gay sex, to school children. You make celebrations of sexual identity, in this case, “queer” and every other type of “non-heteronormative” sexual identity, a routine part of the school curriculum and calendar. You make race and sex, that is, non-white race and non-male sex, a qualification for scientific hiring and research grants. Opposing those radical changes is not waging a war; it is belatedly trying to play defense.)”
Before the election, the New York Times newsroom had brought in popcorn and cotton candy machines, fake sparklers, and goodie bags in anticipation of the coronation of “Madame President.” On November 6, the popcorn machine stood unceremoniously in a corner behind yellow police tape and an orange rubber traffic cone.
And the real war begins. Progressives won’t go without a fight. Yes Donald Trump is President come January 20th. But already New York and California have fired warning shots that they will fight, fight, fight.
You have the Affirmative action NY AG saying she’s ready to go back to court to contest the feds under Trump. So let’s see who get’s indicted this time. And in California,
California Assembly Speaker Robert Rivas told Politico. “What you can expect is California will do everything we can to protect America from Donald Trump.”
California Attorney General Rob Bonta told Politico his office has been preparing arguments on “almost every issue” that could come up in a second Trump administration, from regulations to gun control.
Politico reported there have been discussions of Newsom calling a special session in response to Trump’s win. Officials in California worked to “Trump-proof” the state’s climate policies and disaster preparedness efforts, Politico said.
There has been informal talk of the governor calling a special session in response to Trump’s win, according to a top legislative aide who was granted anonymity to explain potential outcomes before the presidency was called for Trump.
For those that aren’t on X, Peanut was a squirrel rescued as a baby seven years ago, and raised in captivity by Mark Longo. Peanut (and Mark) became an Instagram sensation with over a half million followers. Peanut lived with another rescued pet named Fred, who was a raccoon.
Mark runs a non-profit animal rescue and sanctuary. Someone decided to report Mark to NY State authorities for this.
The New York State police raided Mark’s home this week:
A total of 10 officers raided his house
He and his wife were not allowed to use bathroom alone
He was not allowed to feed his other rescue animals
They interrogated his wife about her immigration status
There were search warrants from 4 bureaucratic departments, including FISA.
This week, despite massive public outcry – both Peanut and Fred were murdered by the New York State Environmental police. Their crime was living in captivity.
To be clear: “Based on the search results, it is extremely rare for squirrels to contract rabies. The data suggests that squirrels are not considered vectors of rabies and have never been known to transmit the disease to humans.”
In the end, this is not about a squirrel. It is all about government overreach, illegal and overbearing search and seizure, arbitrary and capricious bureaucracies.
.
Has our republic really been reduced to murdering pet squirrels?
God save America
Get out and vote for Peanut…
Ah, yes, the Federal Reserve. A future Substack topic, to be sure.
Somehow, I missed this, Remy – It is close enough to Halloween to still be funny, though!
I got all excited, thinking maybe I COULD SEND THEM A LIST OF WHAT LOCATIONS IN THE 11 BLUE STATES.
But then I saw that they’re focusing on 27 states. My heart sank. So they’re going to look at states that don’t have issues or juristictions where Democrats and HARRIS NEED HELP.
Texas will have the most counties being monitored with eight. That includes Democratic-leaning Harris County, one of the nation’s largest that has been the target of Republican state officials during elections.
In battleground states, the Justice Department said federal monitors will be on hand in Maricopa County, Ariz.; Fulton County, Ga.; Clark County, Nev.; Mecklenburg County, N.C.; and Philadelphia County, Pa.
In Michigan, the cities of Detroit and Ann Arbor will be monitored along with the city of Milwaukee in Wisconsin.
CNN contributor takes back Cheney ‘firing squad’ quip: ‘I was wrong’
No Virginia, Trump didn’t say he would put Cheney before a firing squad. I’m sure you know by now, MSM, plus Harris, Walz, and Liz Cheney put out the lie that Trump was going to put Cheney before a firing squad.
Trump made the statement that Cheney had no problem with putting our troops in harm’s way, but it would be different if she was out there in the front lines. Below is the actual comment.
“Let’s put her with a rifle standing there with nine barrels shooting at her, OK. Let’s see how she feels about it, you know, when the guns are trained on her face,” Trump said. “You know, they’re all war hawks when they’re sitting in Washington in a nice building saying, ‘oh, gee, we’ll, let’s send — let’s send 10,000 troops right into the mouth of the enemy.’”
Some have taken back their comments, but some like the affirmative action TV comedian Lester Holt have not. Let’s see if Harris apologizes for her personal attack. Probably not.
I’m sure you’ve heard by now that the WP owner said that there would be no endorsement for President. Folks there started resigning and almost 300,000 fanatics cancelled their subscriptions. Great.
Bezos told us that people no longer trust the Post and other MSM. He was tryingto get that point across to the staff. They didn’t care. So his only choice was to tell them that they can leave if they disagree. Plain English. Don’t let the dor hit you in the ass.
