Data backs up Trump on crime increase, violence up under Biden-Harris administration.

Crime rates remained elevated last year under President Biden, according to Justice Department data released Thursday that challenges a prevailing media and White House narrative.

The data comes from a massive annual government-run survey of crime victims.

It found 22.5 of every 1,000 residents reported being the victim of a violent crime in 2023, and 102.2 per 1,000 reported facing a property crime.

“Violent crime increased by 37% under the Biden administration, compared to a drop of 17% under the Trump administration,” he said.

Mr. Trump’s campaign said the data showed “crime rates remain WAY UP under Kamala Harris — throwing a dagger straight through the heart of claims to the contrary by Democrats and their Fake News allies.”

The Washington Times has reached out to the White House and Ms. Harris’ campaign for response.

The Bureau of Justice Statistics runs the National Crime Victimization Survey, which annually reaches nearly a quarter-million people in 150,000 households.

It is one of two primary national tallies of overall crime rates. The FBI’s national crime reporting database compiles crimes reported to local police departments.

The FBI data suggested that crime reports had dropped over the past couple of years, but the victimization data suggests this is false.

The issue played out during the presidential debate Tuesday when Mr. Trump made crime rates a theme of attack on Ms. Harris.

“Crime is through the roof,” Mr. Trump said.

At that point, David Muir, the moderator for debate host ABC, stepped in to fact-check Mr. Trump using FBI data.

“President Trump, as you know, the FBI says overall violent crime is coming down in this country,” he said.

Mr. Trump said the FBI’s data was suspect, and Mr. Lott said he is right to be skeptical.

In 2020, 97% of police departments reported their data to the FBI, though 10% reported incomplete data. By 2022, 31% weren’t reporting data at all and another 24% were reporting incomplete data.

That means less than half of police departments were reporting complete data to the FBI, Mr. Lott said. A further issue is how often people report crimes to police.

ABC didn’t respond to a request for comment.

The Bureau of Justice Statistics data released Thursday says overall crime reporting rates remained the same from 2022 to 2023 but dropped significantly in some categories, such as robberies and motor vehicle thefts.

Mr. Lott said the victimization data showed significant improvements in several major crimes during the Trump administration. He said aggravated assaults fell by 24% under Mr. Trump but rose 55% under Mr. Biden, according to the data for 2023.

Robbery, which fell 6% under Mr. Trump, is up 63% under Mr. Biden. Rape, which was flat under Mr. Trump, is up 42% under Mr. Biden.

The FBI has better data for one crime: homicide. It is almost always reported, and the victimization survey has no way to measure it.

The latest full-year FBI data, covering 2022, showed a 6.1% drop in homicides from 2021.

Some experts said they don’t think either survey alone is a proper indicator of crime rates and said aggregating the numbers for a national picture doesn’t make sense. Those experts argue that there are too many regional factors.

Looking over a longer horizon, crime rates under Mr. Trump and Mr. Biden are much lower than in the early 1990s, when violent crime victimization neared 80 per 1,000 residents, or more than three times their current rate.

Both are statistically unchanged from 2022 but are significantly

higher than in 2020, the last year under President Trump.

The data said Americans aren’t reporting some of the most common crimes to police as often. Just 44% of self-reported robbery victims said they filed a police report last year, down substantially from 64% in 2022.

The numbers indicate that crime has risen under Mr. Biden and fell during the Trump administration, said John R. Lott Jr., president of the Crime Prevention Research Center, who has tracked the data over the years.

He said the new data undercuts claims by the Biden White House, Vice President Kamala Harris’ campaign and news media figures that crime rates are falling. Their claims are based on FBI data.

This was the moment that sent a deep chill down my spine and raised all alarm bells that we were on a very dangerous path. The President of the United States was directly threatening his own citizens and blaming a subset of people for the ongoing COVID crisis.

I realized I was witnessing Germany 2.0 unfolding before my very eyes and knew it had to be stopped before things got worse. I decided then that I could no longer be a spectator and started taking steps toward creating the account you see today, @VigilantFox.

What ensued after Biden’s speech was one of the most hate-filled propaganda campaigns in human history. Here’s a look back at what they did to the noncompliant in the name of “health.”

Even if you were vaccinated — took two shots yourself, if you dared speak out against the mandates, you were just as much “anti-vax” as the unvaccinated.

“If you are anti-mandate, you are absolutely anti-vax. I don’t care what your personal vaccination status is. In other words, “If you dare to question the authority of the state, we will also place you into the ‘other’ category.”

And then came discriminatory lockdowns of the unvaccinated — most notably in Austria. (November and December of 2021)

The unvaccinated were barred from leaving their homes for all “non-essential” purposes. You couldn’t even take your family out for a humble meal at McDonald’s without the threat of police barging in to check your papers.

Keep in mind that it was well known that the COVID-19 “vaccines” did not stop transmission at this time. However, governments worldwide continued to punish the unvaccinated, stripping away their jobs, their ability to travel, and their ability to feed their families…

Neighbors turned on neighbors.

The propaganda became more ridiculous.

The unvaccinated were ridiculed after death.

 

An entire subreddit was dedicated to mocking such people to their graves after supposedly dying of COVID-19. We all know what really happened in those hospitals. This was a low point in groupthink behavior that sadly continues to persist today.

Life-saving transplants were denied to the unvaccinated.

Police violently pushed elderly women to the ground — and then pepper sprayed them.

Quarantine camps even popped up in Australia.

Fines of up to 5,000 Australian dollars were issued against breaking the rules on their grounds, such as leaving your designated porch area without a mask on.

They went as far as to divide us with fences…

 

And Austria even intended to criminalize being unvaccinated… (December 2021)

Those rules say that if you’re not vaccinated, you can get fined up to 2000 euros each time you’re caught unvaccinated. This can mean, and this is explicitly being said so that you can also get fined more than once a day, or three times, four times, five times if you’re unvaccinated. If you refuse to pay this, the government wants to put us into a separate prison which has to be created for unvaccinated people up to one year.”

On a global scale, the unvaccinated were treated like animals, “others.” So were the people who didn’t want to wear a mask…

Even after all the psychological, social, and economic abuse, they were still proven unsuccessful in breaking your spirit.

I truly believe, had people not resisted, that Germany 2.0 could have been an actual thing. It was resistance, not “The Science™” that toppled vaccine mandates — and the discriminatory practices that came along with them.

The Canadian truckers led the way with the Freedom Convoy, the single most monumental demonstration of peaceful resistance I have seen in my lifetime.

After weeks of bouncy houses, hockey games, and dance parties in the streets of Ottawa, Trudeau had no choice but to expose himself as a full-on tyrant — bank accounts frozen!

As we look back at where vax mandates are now vs. where they were then, there is no about the HUGE impact the trucker convoy had on COVID policy, not only in Canada but around the world.

But each and every person who resisted COVID tyranny also deserves thanks.

Trump Outlines ‘9 Steps’ He’ll Use to ‘Drain the Swamp.’

Former President Donald Trump, speaking at a rally at the Central Wisconsin Airport in Mosinee, Wisconsin, railed against Vice President Kamala Harris while outlining his “nine steps” to “drain the swamp” in Washington, D.C.

First, Trump said he will end what he calls the weaponization of government and the abuse of law enforcement against political opponents.

Second, Trump said that he will bring back free speech in America.

“Fake news is a threat to this country,” Trump said. “Some are good, but most of them are absolutely terrible human beings. They are the police force for bad. They are very dishonest. When you’re a politician and happen to be a Republican, they write just the opposite of what the facts are.”

The third step will to “expel the warmongers” and to “carry out a much-needed cleanup of the military-industrial complex,” said Trump.

The fourth step, he said, will be to curtail the power of federal bureaucrats.

Trump promised as his fifth step, his administration will “drain the government education swamp and stop the abuse of your taxpayer dollars to indoctrinate America’s youth.” This includes eliminating the federal Department of Education and sending control of schools back to the states.

For the sixth step, Trump said his administration will not tolerate equity policies “that punish Americans based on race or gender.”

As the seventh step, Trump said his administration will work with former independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to take on corruption at the Food and Drug Administration, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the World Health Organization, “and other institutions that are dominated by corporate power and China.”

The eighth step will be to ask Congress to pass sweeping reforms preventing foreign influence-peddling “like we have seen with the Biden crime family.”

And as the ninth and final step, Trump said he will support modifying the 25th Amendment “to make clear that if a vice president lies or engages in a conspiracy to cover up the incapacity of the president of the United States, it is grounds for impeachment and removal from office,” said Trump.

For those who follow the economy, the latest job report is not a pretty picture. I’m sure you saw last week where we were told that from last March to this March, the jobs report was off by eight hundred thousand jobs. Yes, eight hundred thousand less jobs than what was reported.

Yesterday’s report for August continued that bad news. Not only did the government miss August’s numbers by about 20,000, but the numbers for June and July were off by about one hundred thousand.

Finally, over four hundred thousand full time jobs were replaced last month with over five hundred thousand part time jobs.

According  to Biase, the case against the current Republican presidential nominee was driven by more than just legal factors—it was designed to derail Trump’s chances in the 2024 election.

In the undercover footage, Biase describes the prosecution as a “perversion of justice,” attributing it to Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s ambition to undermine Trump’s candidacy for the upcoming 2024 presidential election.

All the above-mentioned Countries have banned X. So why add Harris-Biden to that list? Well so far the US hasn’t, but there are reports that the US has worked with Brazil covertly to ban X.

President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris, along with Democrats haven’t formally denounced Brazil’s censorship of X because they “not only support the censorship but have also been directly funding it,” investigative journalist Michael Shellenberger claimed Sunday.

“The Biden administration and Democrats have played an influential role in instigating censorship in Brazil,” Shellenberger wrote in a piece for Public, which he shared on his X account. “The FBI went to Brazil and gave its Supreme Court justices advice on how to censor its population. The US government has been funding many of the NGOs in Brazil that have demanded censorship since the election of a populist president there in 2018.”

In a significant victory for states’ rights and the protection of individual liberties, a U.S. District Court in Texas has issued a nationwide stay on key provisions of the Biden administration’s controversial Final Rule on Nondiscrimination in Health Programs and Activities.

According to the press release:

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton won a nationwide stay that blocks the Biden Administration from forcing federally-funded healthcare providers to conduct “gender transition” surgeries. Previously, Texas won a stay of agency action that blocked the rule from enforcement in the plaintiff States, Texas and Montana. Applying the same logic, Texas then argued for nationwide relief, and the court has expanded the relief to the entire country.

In May 2024, the Biden Administration promulgated a new rule under Section 1557 of the Affordable Care Act that would defund healthcare providers across the country who refuse to perform or pay for experimental, unproven, and potentially dangerous “gender transition” procedures.

Under the rule, any medical institution that refused to perform the procedures could be stripped of all federal healthcare funds, including federal Medicaid and Medicare dollars. The rule further claimed to preempt any state laws forbidding such procedures.

In June 2024, Texas and Montana sued the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (“HHS”), arguing that the rule was a plainly unconstitutional attempt to override state law. The rule also relied on a misapplication of the Affordable Care Act which never authorized HHS or any government agency to compel institutions to perform or pay for these procedures.

“When Biden and Harris sidestep the Constitution to force their unlawful, extremist agenda on the American public, we are fighting back and stopping them,” said Attorney General Paxton.

“By blocking this destructive policy, which would have forced taxpayer-funded hospitals to conduct unproven and dangerous ‘gender transition’ procedures, Texas has delivered a major victory for Americans across the country.”

So, for those states that see no issues with the mutilation of children, this has to be heartbreaking for them.

Tyler lost an arm, leg, and had his organs in his stomach ripped out. Did I mention that he’s gone through 49 surgeries since then? Yes the bomber not only did a number on him, but killed 13 soldiers and 170 others that day in Afghanistan. Vargas-Andrews said he believes that his team spotted the suicide bomber before he could detonate his device outside Abbey Gate, but military leaders did not allow Marines to shoot the man.

Kamala’s part? She was the last one in the room who had no issues with how the cowardly retreat was handled three years ago.

Undercutting a President and a political challenger.

Former Ohio congressman and two-time Democratic presidential candidate Dennis Kucinich told Newsmax that “people from inside the government were trying to undercut” former president Donald Trump’s presidency in a way that was “un-American.”

“Whether you’re a Democrat, Republican, or independent, when someone is elected president, the country is supposed to get behind him or her. And that didn’t happen,” Kucinich, former campaign manager for Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s recently suspended campaign, told “Rob Schmitt Tonight.”

Kucinich said Kennedy, who endorsed Trump after suspending his campaign Friday, tried to run inside the Democratic Party.

“He began his campaign as a Democrat — a Kennedy Democrat, nonetheless. The minute that he said that roadblocks were put in his way, the DNC [Democratic National Committee] immediately moved the Biden headquarters into the DNC headquarters,” he said.

“And I will tell you, one of the landmark decisions that is reverberating through this whole election, the DNC decided in the primary there wouldn’t be any debates.”

Kucinich said that decision was in response to the known weaknesses of President Joe Biden.

“They knew he was done. They knew the weaknesses. And so what happened is they scheduled a debate before the convention, so that he could be pushed aside.”

“Now, this whole process was aimed at blocking any real competition inside the Democratic Party,” Kucinich said, calling the ways the DNC blocked Kennedy and other candidates from getting on the ballot “unbelievable.”
