Congressional Report Validates COVID “Conspiracy Theories” (Part 1)

The House Oversight Committee has released its final report on COVID-19, confirming many of the theories and claims labeled as “conspiracy” or “misinformation” during the pandemic. The report focuses on the origins of the coronavirus and the federal government’s funding of gain-of-function research. It concludes that COVID-19 most likely originated from a laboratory in Wuhan, China.

The committee highlights five key arguments supporting the “lab leak” theory. First, the virus displays a biological characteristic not typically found in nature. Second, data reveals that all COVID-19 cases trace back to a single introduction into humans, unlike previous pandemics, which involved multiple spillover events. Third, Wuhan houses China’s leading SARS research facility, which has a history of conducting gain-of-function experiments under inadequate biosafety conditions. Fourth, researchers from the Wuhan Institute of Virology reportedly became ill with a COVID-like virus in the fall of 2019, months before the outbreak was linked to a wet market. Finally, the lack of scientific evidence for a natural origin, even after years of research, strengthens the lab leak hypothesis.

The House Oversight Committee has also determined that Dr. Anthony Fauci played a key role in suppressing the truth about the origins of COVID-19. According to the report, Dr. Fauci orchestrated the creation of the publication “The Proximal Origin of SARS-CoV-2,” which was widely cited by public health officials and media outlets to discredit the lab leak theory. This publication was allegedly crafted to promote the narrative that COVID-19 originated naturally rather than in a laboratory.

The report further concludes that a lab-related incident involving gain-of-function research is the most likely origin of COVID-19. It highlights that current government mechanisms for overseeing gain-of-function research are inadequate, overly complex, and lack global enforcement. This oversight failure has underscored the need for more stringent and transparent regulations to mitigate risks posed by such experiments.

Additionally, the committee scrutinized the role of EcoHealth Alliance, Inc., led by Dr. Peter Daszak. EcoHealth allegedly used U.S. taxpayer funds to support dangerous gain-of-function research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology. Following the release of evidence by the Select Subcommittee showing that EcoHealth violated the terms of its National Institutes of Health (NIH) grant, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) initiated debarment proceedings and suspended all funding to the organization. Furthermore, new evidence has revealed that the Department of Justice (DOJ) is investigating EcoHealth’s activities during the pandemic, adding another layer of scrutiny to its operations.

The House Oversight Committee’s report delivers a damning indictment of the measures taken to combat COVID-19, asserting that many were not based on science and caused significant harm. Policies such as social distancing, mask mandates, and lockdowns are unequivocally criticized for their ineffectiveness and their role in prolonging the crisis.

Social Distancing

The “6 feet apart” social distancing rule, which led to widespread school closures and the collapse of countless small businesses, was entirely arbitrary and unsupported by scientific evidence. Dr. Anthony Fauci admitted under oath that the recommendation “sort of just appeared,” exposing the lack of any substantive justification for this policy.

Mask Mandates

Mask mandates were imposed without conclusive scientific proof that they effectively protected against COVID-19. Public health officials frequently contradicted themselves on the efficacy of masks, fueling widespread public distrust and highlighting the absence of a consistent, science-based approach.

Lockdowns

Lockdowns inflicted devastating harm on the American economy and severely impacted the mental and physical health of the population, especially younger Americans. Instead of prioritizing the protection of vulnerable groups, federal and state governments imposed draconian measures that forced millions to sacrifice essential aspects of their livelihoods, education, and healthcare. These lockdowns caused immeasurable damage with no clear evidence of benefit.

New York’s Pandemic Failures

Former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo’s disastrous March 25 order, which mandated that nursing homes accept COVID-19-positive patients, is described as a case of blatant medical malpractice. This reckless policy led to catastrophic outcomes in nursing homes. Evidence further reveals that Cuomo and his administration deliberately worked to conceal the deadly consequences of their decisions to avoid accountability.

The Select Subcommittee has accused Cuomo of knowingly making false statements to conceal the extent of the tragedy in New York’s nursing homes. In light of this, the committee has referred Cuomo to the Department of Justice for criminal prosecution.

These findings categorically expose the failures and harm caused by pandemic policies, holding key officials accountable for their actions and the suffering they inflicted on the American people.

On last Tuesday’s edition of NBC’s “Hallie Jackson Reports,” host Hallie Jackson discussed a new study on the learning loss caused by COVID school closures and acknowledged that politics played a role in school closure policies, but also stated that people under 20 were “not necessarily less likely to spread” the virus and “experts we spoke with say the impact on stopping the spread depends on the school.”

Jackson said, “New research finding what does happen: The shutdowns coming at a steep cost to students, start with the learning loss, a study led by researchers at Harvard and Stanford found school districts that spent most of the 2020-2021 school year remote saw students fall more than half a grade behind in math on average, more than districts that spent most of the year in-person. Lower-income students ended up hurt the most, whether they went back to school sooner or stayed mostly at home that year. Politics also playing a role, Republican-led states re-opening faster than those run by Democrats.”

She added, “Question is, did closures slow COVID down? Data we now have shows people under 20 were half as likely to catch COVID, but not necessarily less likely to spread it. And experts we spoke with say the impact on stopping the spread depends on the school.”

She then played video of Pediatrics-Infectious Diseases Professor at the University of Colorado School of Medicine Dr. Sean O’Leary stating, “By the summer of 2020, we did have some data from — primarily from Europe showing that kids could be safely in school. But again, circumstances, some schools were able to do that. Other schools just simply could not do it.”

Jackson then stated, “But the academic damage is done. And even now, national test scores from spring 2023 show students 3rd through 8th grade overall have not rebounded from what they lost in math.”

Playing Cat and Mouse with Tony the Fauch(Anthony Faucci). For two days The House had Fauci in hearings. It really looked like a game of Cat and Mouse. At times Fauci looked like Sylvester the Cat, and at times so did the House Republicans. Democrats were in their Denial.

Below is the key takeaway. Follow the link and you will see a lot of what he said and didn’t say.

Americans who trusted the science when Dr. Anthony Fauci told them to be six feet apart to prevent the spread of COVID-19 learned Wednesday there was no science behind the edict.

After two days of interviews behind closed doors to the House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic, a news release posted on the website of the House Oversight Committee revealed that “Fauci claimed that the ‘6 feet apart’ social distancing recommendation promoted by federal health officials was likely not based on any data. He characterized the development of the guidance by stating ‘it sort of just appeared.’”

GOP Rep.  Brad Wenstrup of Ohio, the panel’s chairman, said Fauci admitted to legislators that “the policies and mandates he promoted may unfortunately increase vaccine hesitancy for years to come.”

“He testified that the lab leak hypothesis — which was often suppressed — was, in fact, not a conspiracy theory,” Wenstrup said. The lab leak theory claims that the coronavirus was released from the Wuhan Institute of Virology in China, and not from natural sources, as Fauci initially claimed.

Fauci remains on US payroll and has taxpayer-funded security despite ‘retiring’ at end of 2022

Fauci will be the 2023 commencement speaker at Yale’s School of medicine

By Jordan Schachtel

We’ve been bamboozled.

Despite claiming to have retired at the end of last year, Dr. Anthony Fauci remains on staff in the Government Health bureaucracy at the NIH and maintains his status as the highest-paid bureaucrat in the federal government. Additionally, Fauci has secured an indefinite taxpayer-funded security detail, The Dossier has confirmed.

Fauci remains on staff at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) so that he maintains eligibility for a taxpayer-funded U.S. Marshals detail, which involves more than half a dozen agents on a full-time detail.

In August of 2022, Fauci wrote that he would be “stepping down” from his position in December in order to “pursue the next chapter of my career.” It remains unclear what Fauci’s new role is at the NIH. All we know is that he no longer leads the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID). That position is now held by Hugh Auchincloss, Fauci’s longtime deputy. Auchincloss is a walking conflict of interest. His daughter is a Big Pharma executive, and his son is a U.S. congressman.

In a recent “exit interview” with the corporate press, Fauci claimed to have received endless “death threats,” thereby justifying his around-the-clock taxpayer-funded security detail. However, this privilege is unique to Fauci, as it is not even afforded to most cabinet secretaries.

Fauci’s newfound status was first reported by Dr Marty Makary at Johns Hopkins University.

Makary writes, citing sources at the NIH:

Once source close to the matter told me that the White House made the decision to keep Dr. Fauci employed by the government in order to keep his security detail of U.S. Marshals. The former director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) has received death threats, including one that was believed to be an intercepted plot to harm him.

He continues:

Some staff at NIH are simply frustrated by the idea that the 82-year-old former NIAID director is part of an inside network of legacy government players that are ‘taken care of’ by each other. If Dr. Fauci is still “on the books” it would be in line with a pattern of older NIH scientists being shuffled around government at the end of their career.

When reached by The Dossier, both the U.S. Marshals and the NIH refused to confirm or deny the fact that Fauci remains on the government payroll. However, The Dossier has independently confirmed that Fauci receives a security detail at the expense of the U.S. taxpayer, which confirms that he remains on the NIH roster. Though his duties are unclear, Fauci remains classified as an “employee” in the NIH directory.

A full time protective detail is billed at over $1 million per month, according to previous reporting on U.S. Marshals security costs. A large team of U.S. Marshals special agents have been detailed to Fauci for almost three years, meaning that he has incurred tens of millions of dollars in taxpayer-funded security costs.

It’s not as if Dr Fauci can’t afford private security from time to time. He has become a very wealthy man over the course of his time in government.

The government bureaucrat’s net worth soared especially during the Covid hysteria era. Via Open The Books, he disclosed a net worth increase from $7.6 million on January 1, 2019, to over $12.6 million on December 31, 2021.

In his post, Dr Makary explains that Fauci’s situation is not an aberration, but the norm, as the NIH acts as a good ol’ boys network for recently “retired” officials, setting up longtime officials with no-show jobs:

NIAID’s most recent chief of viral diseases, 85-year-old Dr. Bernard Moss, who just stepped down from his leadership role, still works at the agency. And Dr. John E. Bennett, who will turn 90 this year, also still works at NIAID as an infectious disease scientist.

Last year, Dr. Francis Collins (age 72) stepped down from his role as NIH director and soon after was named co-head of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy. Dr. Collins is also still working in a lab at the NIH after serving as director of the agency for 12 years.

My opinion. The fauch must not have anything to do with the vaccine. Use Science instead of his opinion.

The fauch must not have anything to do with the vaccine. Use Science instead of his opinion. I where recently ome on the left are saying that Dr. Fauci will play a roll in the vaccine roll out. That must not happen. He has been all over the place on the vaccine.

He’s used several  different dates. End of 2021, April 2021, end of 2020, November 2020, all fake news. FDA makes the final decision not the fauch.

I’m glad Pfizer is using science and not guess work Fauci. That’s great  They oped out of receiving Federal money for their vaccine.news.

Pfizer opted not to accept government funding and participate in the federal program to develop a coronavirus vaccine, known as Operation Warp Speed. (The government did make an almost $2 billion deal with Pfizer to preorder up to 600 million doses of the company’s vaccine, but it isn’t contributing money to the vaccine’s development like it is for other companies.)
