DEI. Is it replacing Affirmative Action? Affirmative action is still with us, especially with your Union companies. But DEI (Diversity, equity, and inclusion) is the new flavor. It’s still Affirmative action, but taken to a new level.
Where Affirmative action was meant to give minorities a level playing field, it became a quota system to just bring people in regardless of qualifications. Again, look at the Unions.
In recent years, DEI efforts and policies have generated criticism, some directed at the specific effectiveness of its tools, such as diversity training, its effect on free speech and academic freedom, as well as more broadly attracting criticism on political or philosophical grounds. Just look at the former Harvard President.
Weaponization of the DOJ continues. Yes my friends we are seeing a direct attack on the American way of Justice. Not only has the Biden Administration used the DOJ on Politicians, but also the ordinary Joe hag of donuts have been targeted.
Sadly, the DC US Attorney has said that they will go after those who were also outside the Capitol building. I have no issues with those who attacked the police, did damage, and forced their way in to be prosecuted. The punishment must fit the crime. A persons past criminal record ( if there is one ) must be looked at in sentencing.
But to charge those who were let in by the police and escorted around by the police made no sense. Also, to charge those outside is a far reach and makes no sense.

The court made the announcement after an explosive amicus brief filed by attorneys for former Attorney General Ed Meese arguing that Jack Smith’s appointment as special counsel by U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland is unconstitutional and so the court must reject his prosecution against Trump.
Meese, joined by Steven Calabresi, the co-chairman of the Federalist Society, and Gary Lawson, a prominent constitutional law professor, argues essentially that Garland improperly appointed Smith to an office that does not exist with authority Garland does not possess.
If the court rules in favor for Meese and the others, it will go to the Supreme Court. If successful, the prosecution’s case is done.

Trump Family $7.8 Million VS. Biden Family $20 Million. Yesterday a supposed major scandal broke. The Democrats revealed that 20 countries gave Trump $7.8 million. Forget Biden and his $20 million.
First Trump lost a third of his wealth as President. And that he also did not take the $4 million dollar salary. Plus that $7.8 million dollars? That’s what they paid to stay at Trump Property Hotels.
Forget the fact that the Trump family didn’t own all the hotels. But here’s what the great expose left out. The profits Trump made from the properties was given back to the Treasury. And before Trump was President, those 20 country diplomats were staying at the hotels.
Now the Trump family was operating a legitamate business. What type of business was the Biden cartel operating? Atty. Morriss gave Hunter Biden $4.9 million. What did he get in return? Millions of dollars doing business with the US government.
I guess that means that after they got a drivers license or applied for welfare, they forgot how to use those ID’S to vote. Like the Black man in California who has his white wife mail in his ballot.
Maine Secretary of State Shenna Bellows made the claim while giving testimony to the legislature in April 2021, expressing her opposition to proposed state laws that would require voters to show photo identification to cast a ballot.

Texas has a good idea. Arrest the Undocumented for Trespassing. They have already arrested over 37,000 for Trespassing. This sounds like a good law for all the states to adopt this law.
Texas Spokesperson Ericka Miller said those arrested included gang members, human traffickers, sex offenders and others.
“Had we not been there, all of it likely would have crossed into the country unimpeded,” Miller told The Associated Press. “The state of Texas is working to send a message to those considering crossing into the country illegally to think again.”

Smith trying to stop Trump from using evidence. Again Smith has run to the judge. This time his goal is to keep out evidence. Special Counsel Jack Smith wants to prevent President Trump from blaming provocateurs and undercover agents for the January 6 Capitol riot.
“Through public statements, filings and argument in hearings before the court, the defense has attempted to inject into this case partisan political attacks and irrelevant and prejudicial issues that have no place in a jury trial,” Jack Smith’s 20-page filing said.
“Although the court can recognize these efforts for what they are and disregard them, the jury — if subjected to them — may not. The court should not permit the defendant to turn the courtroom into a forum in which he propagates irrelevant disinformation, and should reject his attempt to inject politics into this proceeding,” Smith wrote according to the court filing

But, but $20 an hour was to create a fair livable wage. Pizza Hut across California lays off drivers. So what happened? Why would anyone be surprised? This is only the beginning. The increase goes into effect come April. Don’t be surprised if more layoffs happen.
Two large Pizza Hut operators in California are laying off all their delivery drivers ahead of a new state law that raises the minimum wage for fast-food workers to $20 an hour, Business Insider reports.
The layoffs impact hundreds of Pizza Hut locations across the state including Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, Ventura and San Bernardino counties and Sacramento, and involve more than 1,200 in-house delivery drivers.
The job cuts will take place through February, according to federal employment notices obtained by Business Insider.
In 2022, Gov. Gavin Newsom of California signed the FAST Act into law. It called for the minimum wage for fast-food workers to increase to $22 an hour in 2023. But corporate chains such as McDonald’s, Chipotle, Chick-fil-A, and franchise-advocacy groups fought the law. A coalition of restaurant-industry organizations said the law could raise costs for fast-food restaurants by $3 billion. They rallied to get a referendum on the ballot.
A new law, AB 1228, replaced the controversial FAST Act this year. The minimum-wage increase for fast-food workers was changed to $20 an hour. The new law was viewed as a compromise between the labor unions representing fast-food workers and the restaurant industry.
So, now those folks will have to rely on third party delivery services and you know that won’t be cheap. The law affects 557,000 fast-food workers at 30,000 restaurants in California.
