I don’t want you to do a goddamn thing. I want you to have a f*cking brain. I want you to have read it. I want you to say, Congresswoman, with such and such date. That’s what I want. That’s the kind of staff that I want to have. So some stupid other motherf*cker did it. And, and I don’t have the information. Nobody sent me the information. I need to, uh, ensure my, um, schedule and, uh, you know, if, if Boo Boo did it, shit a** did it, f*ck face did it. And nobody knows a goddamn thing in my office. Okay? Nothing. I gave it to you. Your job was to get it on the calendar, imprint it in your brain, or send me the information back saying, “Congresswoman, I made sure that the Ovide Ducantell event that you gave me, uh, for a so-and-so date at seven is on the f*cking calendar.” Not to, oh, Jerome has it.
Sheila Jackson Lee • 1:02 – 1:33
Okay. So when I called Jerome, he only sitting up there like a fat a** stupid idiot talking about, uh, what the f*ck? He doesn’t know. Okay? Both of y’all are f*ck ups [inaudible]. Nobody gives a sh*t about what you’re doing and you ain’t doing sh*t. And this is an example of it. I gave it to Jerome. This is not child’s work.
UC Davis Professor Under Fire Over Posts Threatening ‘Zionist’ Journalists And Their Families. Seems like I’m always reading something about this school. We now have a Professor who teaches of all things American Studies getting into the hate the Jewish Journalists.
Jemma Decristo, an assistant professor of American studies at University of California, Davis, wrote in a post last week on X that “zionist journalists” spread “propaganda & misinformation.”
She followed that up with an apparent threat to those journalists and their families, as well as three different emojis: a knife, an ax, and blood droplets.
What’s this tell us? Come on where’s George? Stand up George. Oh, he’s dead. Who can forget when Biden wanted a person confined to a wheelchair to stand up. Or wanted a dead congresswoman to take a bow. Well Joe did it again. He wished a Happy Birthday to a dead person. A career criminal.
Administrators at a Brooklyn high school never punished a group of teen boys who sexually assaulted a female classmate and recorded the abuse, fueling the “dangerous environment” that allowed it to happen, according to a recently-settled lawsuit.
A 14-year-old freshman at Transit Tech High School was forced to perform oral sex in front of other attackers — who recorded it with their cell phones and posted it to social media including TikTok and Snapchat, the suit alleged.
Transit Tech “created a dangerous school environment that condoned sexual abuse and harassment, particularly by a group of offenders who have been allowed to engage in similar despicable conduct without effective reprimand or discipline,” said the suit, filed in Brooklyn federal court by the girl’s mother.
“School officials simply raised their hands and turned their backs on this vulnerable student, encouraging (her) to leave the school, … and allowed the students who abused her to remain at Transit.”
The suit cites a “climate of harassment” at the East New York career and technical school – especially against girls, who make up just 15% of its 797 students.
The state also cited 14 reports of discrimination, intimidation, taunting, harassment, or bullying, and 12 cases of drug possession or sales.
The lawsuit names Marlon Bynum, the principal, and Janice Ross, superintendent of Brooklyn North high schools, charging they “were aware that female students were regularly harassed and subjected to abuse and that sexual activity was occurring within the school.”
On Aug. 4, the city agreed to pay a $200,000 settlement, The Post learned. After attorney fees, the girl, now 15, will receive $132,170 when she turns 18.
“No amount of money will compensate my daughter for what she had to go through, and is still going through as a victim of sexual assault,” the girl’s mother told The Post, which is withholding her name to protect the child’s privacy.
The sickening assault — which was not reported publicly at the time — occurred on Oct. 21, 2021, as the girl walked to class through an isolated staircase.
She told cops one boy “pushed her head down” onto another boy, while a third recorded the sex act and posted it on social media, NYPD records show.
She immediately reported the attack.
The NYPD arrested two boys, charging one with criminal sexual assault, a felony, and the other with offensive display, a misdemeanor, records show.
But the charges were dropped a week later after the Brooklyn District Attorney’s office declined to prosecute.
The office does not comment on cases involving juveniles.
“Kids are kids,” the girl’s mother quoted the principal as telling her the next day, she said in sworn testimony.
A DOE report on the incident said “video footage is available.”
But the school erased the school’s surveillance tape before he asked for it, said the girl’s lawyer, Kevin Mosley.
“The cover-up is beyond belief,” Mosley told The Post. “The authorities did not take her seriously.”
About a week after the assault, the girl’s mother received an unsigned email from the DOE saying, “We have … determined that the behavior that was the subject of the investigation did not violate Chancellor’s Regulation A-832,” which prohibits student-on-student discrimination, sexual harassment, intimidation and bullying.
The attackers remained at Transit Tech.
The girl’s parents transferred her to another school.
She “was forced to leave …in fear of her own safety,” suffering physically, emotionally and academically, the suit said. Her attendance and grades fell that year, and she needed counseling.
A city Law Department spokesman said only, “This settlement was in the best interests of the parties.” Bynum, Ross and a DOE spokesman had no response.
The Transit Tech suit comes after another female student at prestigious Brooklyn Tech HS — also under Ross’s supervision — sued the DOE last December, charging administrators botched a probe of horrific sex harassment — erasing nude photos that a boy student used to threaten and blackmail the girl.
In that suit, which is pending, the girl’s parents begged the school to keep their daughter safe from the boy, but he continued to attend Brooklyn Tech after his arrest and while on probation.
Fox News host Jesse Watters stated the obvious on Monday’s edition of “The Five,” which is that Donald Trump “is not winning the black vote.”
The popular show’s quintet was discussing Robert F. Kennedy Jr. potentially being a spoiler candidate by running as an independent when Watters opined on who would be hurt more.
“It hurts Biden more than it hurts Trump,” he said. “I looked at some videos for the RFK rallies. You will not see Trump-looking voters at RFK rallies. It is college students and Black Americans. OK? That’s not what I’d consider the Trump base, OK?”
Cohost Jessica Tarlov, the token liberal at the table, chimed in: “At least you’re admitting now that black people don’t like Donald Trump.”
“I’m talking demographically, Jessica. Or did that go over your head?” Watters countered. “Trust me, they don’t vote for Trump, they vote for Democrats.”
“I thought they voted for Trump in bigger numbers than any prior candidate. He keeps banking on the fact that he’ll get more and more black voters,” cohost Martha MacCallum interjected.
“Trump is not winning the black vote!” Watters insisted. “He’ll do better than last time. But when you see a crowd of black people and a crowd of college students, you do not say, ‘That is a Trump rally!’ I mean, come on, people! Are we stupid here? Are we Jamaal Bowman here? What’s going on?”
(U.S. Rep. Jamaal Bowman is the Democratic lawmaker from New York who claimed he pulled a fire alarm because he thought it would open a locked door.)
Watters proceeded to paint a hypothetical involving northeastern voters.
“Let’s just say New Hampshire — critical vote electorally. You see Trump’s name, you see Biden’s name and you see Kennedy,” he explained. “Kennedy is synonymous with Democrat. Everybody in New Hampshire used to live in Massachusetts. They’re all Boston transplants. This guy has Boston coming out of his pores.”
“Who has a firmer grip on their base? Joe Biden or Donald Trump? Donald Trump does. Donald Trump absolutely does,” Watters continued. “Have you ever met a Trump voter that’s like, ‘You know what, I’m really considering voting for Kennedy, an environmental lawyer, who, if you go on his website, wants to stop mining, logging, and oil exploration. If you go on his website, RFK Jr., who I like, also wants government-run daycare. He is pro-choice! I’m not saying Trump people wouldn’t consider voting for him. I’m saying, overwhelmingly, this pulls from Biden.”
WASHINGTON — House Speaker Kevin McCarthy called for Rep. Jamaal Bowman, D-N.Y., to be punished after he pulled a fire alarm in a Capitol office building Saturday, comparing the incident to the Jan. 6 riot at the building.
McCarthy, R-Calif., cited “how other people were treated when they come in and wanted to change the course of what was happening in the building.” He said the Ethics Committee should take the pulled fire alarm “seriously.”
“This should not go without punishment,” McCarthy said. “I’m going to have a discussion with the Democratic leader about it. But this should not go without punishment. This is an embarrassment. ”Bowman said later in a statement that the action was unintentional.
“Today, as I was rushing to make a vote, I came to a door that is usually open for votes but today would not open,” he said Saturday night. “I am embarrassed to admit that I activated the fire alarm, mistakenly thinking it would open the door. I regret this and sincerely apologize for any confusion this caused.
“But I want to be very clear, this was not me, in any way, trying to delay any vote. It was the exact opposite — I was trying urgently to get to a vote, which I ultimately did and joined my colleagues in a bipartisan effort to keep our government open,” he added.
A screen grab of security video was distributed to officers so they could find the person who pulled the alarm, a person familiar with the matter said.
A photo linked to Rep. Jamaal Bowman pulling a fire alarm at the Capitol on Saturday.
Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries, D-N.Y., said he has not yet seen the video. “Until I see the video, I have no further comment,” he said when he was asked.
U.S. Capitol Police are investigating, according to a statement that did not mention Bowman by name, and the House Administration Committee is conducting a probe, as well.
“Rep. Jamal Bowman pulled a fire alarm in Cannon this morning,” an account controlled by the Republicans on the committee wrote on X, the website formerly known as Twitter, in a post that spelled Bowman’s first name incorrectly. “An investigation into why it was pulled is underway.” Committee Chairman Bryan Steil, R-Wis., signed the post.
Fellow Rep. Nicole Malliotakis of New York, a Republican, said on X that she will introduce a resolution to expel Bowman from the House over the incident. “This is the United States Congress, not a New York City high school. This action warrants expulsion & I’m introducing a resolution to do just that,” she wrote.
The alarm sounded in the Cannon office building, which is connected to the Capitol by an underground tunnel, as the Republicans were trying to begin a vote on a 45-day spending measure to keep the government open.
“Today at 12:05 p.m., a fire alarm was activated on the 2nd floor of the Cannon House Office Building,” a Capitol Police spokesperson said in the statement. “The building was evacuated while USCP officers checked the building. The building was reopened after it was determined that there was not a threat. An investigation into what happened and why continues.”
Democrats appeared to try to delay starting the vote, which they had been given very little notice about. Many complained that Republicans were trying to vote before Democrats had time to read the bill.
Jeffries delivered a 52-minute speech in what was seen as an effort to give his fellow members and their staffs time to figure out whether his party would support the bill.
Ultimately, the vote began 2½ hours after it was scheduled to start. And Democrats overwhelmingly voted in favor of the bill.
Time to focus on where Republicans are winning with the American Voters. I’ve made a decision that it’s time to ease up on the criminal activities of Joe and Hunter Biden. Don’t get me wrong. There’s crimes that have been committed, but we must look at the big picture.
Republicans are winning on the Border, The Economy, Education, COVID, and Green Energy. The Biden administration is screwing up in all of those areas. They want us to just focus on Hunter so their other misdeeds will go unnoticed.
So unless it’s earth shattering and a main News issue of the day, this writer will ease up on the Hunter and Joe Biden money laundering.
“The city of Chicago is reimagining the role government can play in our lives by exploring a public option for grocery stores via a municipally owned grocery store and market,” said Pawar, senior adviser at Economic Security Project. “Not dissimilar from the way a library or the postal service operates, a public option offers economic choice and power to communities.”
To write this in plain english:
The city of Chicago is re-imagining the role government can play in our lives by exploring a command economy for Chicago via government owned stores and markets. A public option takes away economic and personal choice and eliminates the buying power of the people.
For an example of how well this works.
This is Soviet (communist) grocery store from the 1980s.
