Last year the 9th told California that you can’t ban gas stoves or building hook ups. Several cities passed these asinine laws. Berkley being one.

The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals last year struck down the city of Berkeley’s ordinance that sought to ban natural gas hookups in new buildings, finding it conflicted with federal law. But Berkeley’s climate obsessives are trying to do an end-run with a November voter initiative that would tax owners of larger buildings for consuming gas.

The AP’s initial headline and social media post, which summarized his comments as, “JD Vance says school shootings are a ‘fact of life,’” was criticized for being misleading. AP later revised the headline to clarify Vance’s statement, stating he “laments” the shootings and called for better security.

AP fixed the headline and the article, but over 2.5 million folks saw the lie. Harris and her security blanket loon still ran with the lie as did MSNBC and an obscure website. The website did no damage because it only has about 25-30 viewers.

Nuff said.

For those who follow the economy, the latest job report is not a pretty picture. I’m sure you saw last week where we were told that from last March to this March, the jobs report was off by eight hundred thousand jobs. Yes, eight hundred thousand less jobs than what was reported.

Yesterday’s report for August continued that bad news. Not only did the government miss August’s numbers by about 20,000, but the numbers for June and July were off by about one hundred thousand.

Finally, over four hundred thousand full time jobs were replaced last month with over five hundred thousand part time jobs.

Fewer than 30% of immigrants, 2.6 million are “lawful permanent residents,” green-card residents and those who came through legal channels.The other 6.5 million immigrant are “other foreign nationals,” mostly people crossing the southern border without authorization, according to the report.

Amazon insists that its Alexa voice-enabled assistant does not have any political opinions — and that Alexa’s responses explaining why someone should vote for VP Kamala Harris while refusing to answer the same question about Donald Trump was a mistake.

“If this is real, this is wild. Amazon’s Alexa is a politically biased hack,” conservative commentator Charlie Kirk wrote in response to a video of someone testing out their Alexa.

Another day another mass shooting.

Yesterday we had another tragic mass shooting. Four dead and nine wounded. This time it was a fourteen-year-old boy who did the killing. So, I’m sure we will see another call for gun bans and new strict laws.

I looked at the numbers from Statista from 1982 to June of 2024. California by far leads all states with 26. As a matter of fact, looking at the top 13 states (four states are tied) here’s the breakdown.

Blue states 55 mass shootings. Purple states 13 mass shootings. Red states 30. So how are those strict gun laws working out?

Speaking of California, when you look at mass shootings that kill or injure? Between 2015 and 2023, California saw about one mass shooting per week. Around 400 hundred incidents. This according to The Public Policy Institute of California.

First it was Senator Dianne Feinstein, then Congressman Eric Swalwell. Now New York Govs. Andrew Cuomo and Kathy Hochul. So, it’s obvious there is no fear when it comes to hiring the spies.

A former aide to New York Governor Kathy Hochul has been charged with acting as an undisclosed agent of the Chinese government, federal prosecutors in Brooklyn said Tuesday. Just three cases below.

Prosecutors said Linda Sun, 41, was arrested on Tuesday and is expected to be presented in court later in the day. Sun’s husband Chris Hu also faces criminal charges, according to prosecutors.

Last year Los Angeles reported on cases involving Chinese spies that infiltrated the offices of senior California politicians with access to highly classified intelligence. One such spy worked as Senator Dianne Feinstein’s personal driver of nearly 20 years—from 1996 to 2014—had been a Chinese agent.

California Congressman Eric Swalwell who was briefed by the FBI in 2020 about a fetching young Chinese staffer for her campaign, Christine Fang, who investigators learned was an agent of China’s Ministry of State Security. Fang and Wong (who worked for Feinstein) were friends, the FBI later revealed. Who’s next?

What it means when a school district bans patriotism because of how it looks.

Recently we have been seeing where schools are banning or disciplining students because they’re proud to be an American. The latest case being in Oklahoma involving the American flag.

Be it a flag or apparel, the excuses are the same. It may offend someone or it may cause violent reactions. What that tells me is that the school has students who are a threat to Democracy and they’re the ones who the schools should be going after.
