Supreme Court Can End US ‘Racialization’

Thanks to the folks over at Newsmax.

The Supreme Court’s review of affirmative action might “finally and correctly” remove race as “a factor” in government decisions, legal expert Alan Dershowitz said on Newsmax.

“First of all, the affirmative action case goes beyond affirmative action: It may decide, finally and correctly, that race cannot be used as a factor by the government,” Dershowitz told Saturday’s “America Right Now.”

“It’s like religion. The Constitution specifically says no religious test, and I think this case may really give rise to a strong statement against the racialization of America. That would be a very good thing.”

Dershowitz also reiterated his concern over the weaponization of the criminal justice system against political opponents, as might unfold with prosecution of Hunter Biden or former President Donald Trump.

“I hate the weaponization of crime on either side,” Dershowitz added to host Tom Basile. “I don’t think people should be targeted because of who they are, whether it’s Donald Trump or Hunter Biden. But, look, if the facts come out and support strongly a criminal prosecution, well, that’s the way it has to be.”

Notably, Trump might be rooting for Hunter Biden to not be charged, because charging Hunter Biden might just be a precursor to suggesting a political prosecution of President Joe Biden’s political enemy can be justified, according to Dershowitz.

“The point I want to make, which is counterintuitive, is the man who should be rooting most strongly for Biden not to be indicted is Donald Trump, because if Hunter is charged, it increases the chances that the government could say, Well, look, we’re not biased; we charged the son of the president, we certainly will charge the former president as well.”

Dershowitz also weighed in on his lawsuit against CNN, who Trump has now also sued.

“CNN is entitled to their opinions, but they’re not entitled to their facts,” Dershowitz concluded. “They’re not entitled to make up facts, and if they have a consistent pattern of making up facts, then I think that will go to a jury.

“And then, of course, and anybody’s guess as to how a jury will decide the case.”

Well known Democrat hate group to attack so called moderates for failing to go along with their form of racism, bigotry, and hate speech.

Axios  is reporting that a well known hate group will give a rebuttal to Joe Biden’s speech. They will be attacking so called Moderates for not pushing the anti- American policies. And the so called Moderates are upset. The so called Moderates will be releasing some type of response.

It’s like keying your own car and slashing your own tires,” Rep. Josh Gottheimer (D-N.J.) told Axios.

Rep. Filemon Vela (D-Texas) also told Axios: “In times of crisis, we should all stand by our president.”

  • “It is astonishing that the radical left continues to promote a Democratic death wish, and sees no problem relegating our party to the permanent minority.”

How funny.

Biden Pandemic Opinion Politics

I know folks like this. Many ‘End Up Pretending to Agree’ with Certain Opinions on Race So They Don’t Get Embarrassed on Twitter.

I know folks like this. Many ‘End Up Pretending to Agree’ with Certain Opinions on Race So They Don’t Get Embarrassed on Twitter.

Rarely do I fear my tongue. I do admit that my wording is changed so the thought police who lurk here, cut, paste, and lie to social media about my articles.

During an interview aired on Friday’s broadcast of PBS’ “Firing Line,” Columbia University Professor and author John McWhorter argued that many people “end up pretending to agree with ideas” on race because they’re afraid of being attacked on social media.

We have this from Professor McWorther.

“So, the common idea that you get nowadays, black kids tend not to do as well on standardized tests. Well, instead of saying, how do we get black kids to do better on them? Which is something that has happened in the past, the new idea is that you say, let’s just get rid of the test. Because the test must be racist. You don’t have to specify how. But if the black kids don’t do as well on it, the test is a racist practice. That’s a real leap. That is a hyper-radical way of looking at things that I think most people, if presented with the mechanics of the argument, would think of as rather cruel, frankly, to black kids. That’s not the way to run a society, most of us would think. Some people might be able to make a case for it, but most of us wouldn’t agree with that. But, instead, we’re being taught that if you’re not an anti-racist, you’re bad, and we’re going to embarrass you on Twitter. And, as a result, many people end up pretending to agree with ideas like this.”

Reprint. Dem congressman chides progressives for provoking anti-Semitism by calling Israel ‘apartheid state’

Reprint. Dem congressman chides progressives for provoking anti-Semitism by calling Israel ‘apartheid state. Feels good to see someone from the left bitch slap their own.

A Democratic congressman called out his progressive colleagues for provoking anti-Semitism by referring to Israel as “a terrorist or apartheid state.”

During a CNN interview on Monday, Rep. Dean Phillips, D-Minn., was asked if he had conversed with any of his fellow progressive lawmakers regarding his previous tweet, which called out their “silence” on condemning anti-Semitic attacks

Phillips, who is Jewish, said he’s “never had to stand up in this way” throughout his life and that “these are the times” his grandparents and great-grandparents cautioned him about growing up.

The Minnesota Democrat said that there was a “problem on the right” regarding anti-Semitism while referencing Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., before noting that America was now “seeing attacks from the left.”

“And just as the former president called COVID the ‘China flu’ — which wrote the tax on Asian-Americans — calling Israel a terrorist state or an apartheid state, to me, is doing the same thing to the Jewish community, which has been persecuted for so many generations,” Phillips said.

The Democratic congressman said it was “time to stand up” and called on his progressive colleagues “to recognize what is at stake here.”

The two-term congressman called out his progressive colleagues on social media for not showing the same amount of “vigor” in pushing back against anti-Semitic attacks as they do other “areas of activism.” The tweet, posted last week, was seen as a thinly-veiled shot at the “Squad,” – the small group of progressive House members who have a history of making anti-Israel comments.
