Michele Tafoya’s NBC role changing after Kaepernick remarks on ‘The View’: report

FOX article can be found here.

Michele Tafoya will no longer be the sideline reporter for NBC’s “Sunday Night Football” after this season, according to a report.

NBC’s coverage of the upcoming Super Bowl in February is expected to be her final appearance on the sideline for the network, the New York Post reported. Her role afterward remained unclear.

The apparent decision comes several weeks after Tafoya was criticized for making comments about former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick during an appearance on ABC’s “The View.”

Tafoya returned to NBC for a few games after “The View,” but has been missing from NBC’s NFL coverage since Thanksgiving Night’s game between the Buffalo Bills and New Orleans Saints.

COLIN KAEPERNICK SAYS RITTENHOUSE VERDICT ‘VALIDATES THE NEED TO ABOLISH OUR CURRENT SYSTEM’

Her absence was described by NBC as “bye weeks” as speculation swirled that something might be amiss in the relationship between Tafoya and the network, the Post reported.

‘The View’ clash over Colin Kaepernick and his NFL slavery comparison: ‘Nobody forces these guys to play’

Sports analyst Bill Simmons drew attention to Tafoya’s prolonged absence earlier this week on his podcast.

“She was in the conservative seat,” Simmons said about Tafoya’s “View” appearance, “Then a couple weeks later, all of a sudden, just on a bye [from NBC]. Taking a break.”

Tafoya, 56, a native of California, has been with NBC for about a decade after previous stints with CBS and ABC/ESPN. She is the winner of five Emmy Awards for her sports reporting.

Side note Opinion.

Kaepernick if white, would have been out of the NFL years earlier. No one would sign him because of diminishing talent, not political views. Eric Reid who had similar views as Kaepernick played up to last year. So goes the Colin theory of white owners against the black man.

Biden Pandemic COVID How funny is this? Just my own thoughts Life

How funny is this? California still hasn’t learned. Mask up Kemosabe.

Well, the loons after lockdown after lockdown, strict restrictions, are still dropping like flys. COVID running rampant, and what is the solution? Masks.

Yes, same masks that the fauch at first said didn’t work, then did work, then said wear two, then said not needed, is needed again. What a bunch of loons.

Gov. Gavin Newsom’s administration announced the new mandate will start Wednesday and last until Jan. 15. The order comes as the per capita rate of new coronavirus cases in California has jumped 47% in the past two weeks. So when do the SS start their door to door and business to business searches?

How funny is this? Don Lemon feels his boy Jussie’s lie will hurt legitimate hate crime claims. No Don, believing someone just because they are a person of color hurts the facts.

Please no pictures of Lynching. They will be removed.

The left has been fooled so many times now but still they don’t get. Just because a person of color makes these wild claims, doesn’t make it so. Jussie being the latest incident. When I heard that two white boys jumped a gay black man, my first thought was that two white Progressives attacked a successful black man cause of jealousy and the fact that he was black and gay. See how that works?

Right on the Progressives but wrong on everything else. What ever happened to just the fact? We’ve seen it in so many of these hate crimes, but the hate’s coming from the MSM and the left.

After Smollet attacked himself and posted a video of himself with a rope around his neck, (and blamed two white Trump supporters), both Cory Booker and Kamala Harris used that attack to generate support for their bill. Here’s a picture of their tweets.

Please no pictures of Lynching. They will be removed.

Restaurant denies service to police cause they’re armed. Social media gives them a one star and the owners beg for forgiveness.

This past Friday San Francisco’s finest were asked to leave a restaurant cause they’re guns made the employees and possibly patrons uncomfortable. So the police left. But the owners added fuel to the fire. They supported the employees. What a mistake that was.

Hilda and Jesse’s Operations/Co-Owner Rachel Sillcocks responded to the expulsion of the uniformed officers, writing, “The fact that they were in uniform with multiple weapons on them made our staff uncomfortable, and potentially other guests.” That’s when Social media for once took over and just ripped into this restaurant. The last straw for the owners was the one star rating. They went to Instagram and begged for forgiveness.

“We made a mistake and apologize for the unfortunate incident on Friday when we asked members of the San Francisco Police Department to leave our restaurant,” co-owners Rachel Sillcocks and Kristina Liedags Compton wrote in statement posted to Instagram Sunday afternoon. “We are grateful to all members of the force who work hard to keep us safe, especially during these challenging times.”

Joe Biden’s America. UPS Lays Off 100s of Workers in Biden’s Hometown Scranton

Whole article is here.

UPS is laying off hundreds of workers in Atlanta, GA, Chicago, IL, Louisville, KY, and President Joe Biden’s hometown of Scranton, Pennsylvania.

“UPS is transitioning some of the work currently done at one of our Global Business Services offices in Atlanta, GA, Chicago, IL, Louisville, KY, and Scranton, PA to another location,” UPS said. “We are having one-on-one meetings with the affected employees to discuss their next steps with the company, which includes the opportunity to apply for open positions at UPS.”

“This layoff will be permanent, and ‘bumping rights’ (that is, the right to avoid termination by displacing another employee) do not exist,” UPS said in a letter to affected employees.

Employees told local news outlets they feel like “we don’t matter” and that it is “just a terrible blow” for those who have worked for the company for years.

As Newswatch 16 reported:

The employees at the UPS facility in Dunmore we talked to wanted to remain anonymous, but they said they feel like they are “being used” for the company’s busiest time of year before the layoffs take effect.

Jim Bognet, a candidate for Congress in Pennsylvania’s 8th congressional district, expressed his support for Pennsylvanian workers on Twitter. “I will FIGHT for the workers of Northeast Pennsylvania,” Bognet tweeted.

“UPS should be embarrassed to announce their shameful plan to layoff 232 hardworking employees. Unfortunately layoffs, inflation, and misery are all too common in Joe Biden and Matt Cartwright’s America,” Bognet said in a statement. “When I’m in Congress, I’ll fight for the workers of Northeast Pennsylvania. I will fight to cut regulations and help businesses grow.”

“‘Scranton’ Joe Biden and ‘Lapdog’ Matt Cartwright have let down the people of Lackawanna County that they claim to represent,” Bognet said.

Still spending like drunken sailors.

It’s one thing when our tax money is spent on building border walls and protecting the county. But social programs that protect the undocumented and waste tax dollars is another. Another month of just throwing good money out the window.

The September deficit topped the previous record of $73.2 billion set in June, the Commerce Department reported Thursday. The deficit is the gap between what the United States exports to the rest of the world and the imports it purchases from foreign nations.

In September, exports plunged 3% to $207.6 billion while imports rose 0.6% to $288.5 billion. Part of the weakness reflected a 15.5% drop in petroleum exports related to the drilling rig and refinery shutdowns

The Biden Administration reached another record in September. The trade deficit reached the highest amount ever recorded in US history.

Why this man was passed up for a seat on the Supreme Court.

Anyone watching this joke of an AG will know why this man was not voted on for a seat on the highest court in the land. And seeing the hate out there from the left for any white guy, his time has passed.

He refused to answer many of the questions put forward. Rep. Mike Johnson: “You know, we were surprised.  I think many people who watched this hearing today thought that he was one of the worst witnesses who has ever appeared before the committee…  I practiced law for 20 years and I would say he ranks up there with some of the worst.  He seemed unprepared.  He was evasive. He dodged question after question and he used simple talking points that apparently were prepared for him by someone else.  It was very unimpressive.  And the idea that he would be the top pick of the Democrats to be on the Supreme Court makes us all wonder what was going on there.

What’s it tell ya when Biden’s friend at CNBC tells ya what a mess we’re in?

Wednesday on CNBC’s “Squawk Box,” network anchor Jim Cramer sounded the alarm on inflation and how it is affecting investment.

Since January 20th, Biden has caused so many events that have brought on what’s called by some as the Biden Misery Index. Now even a strong supporter of his over at CNBC is telling the world that Inflation is even worse than first thought.

A recent poll found that 62% of American voters believe President Joe Biden is responsible for the rising inflation resulting in costs for the increase in everyday purchases such as groceries and gas.

Terry can run, but can’t hide. Terry McAuliffe shuts down interview and chides reporter for not asking ‘better questions’

Article appears on FOX.

Democratic gubernatorial candidate Terry McAuliffe cut his interview short with a local Virginia TV station and scolded the reporter for not asking “better questions.”

WJLA 7News reporter Nick Minock conducted interviews with the former governor and his GOP rival Glenn Youngkin, sharing highlights on air while releasing the full interviews and transcripts online.

However, WJLA anchor Jonathan Elias offered a disclaimer to viewers who may notice that Youngkin’s interview was much longer than McAuliffe’s.

MCAULIFFE GRILLED TO DEFINE CRITICAL RACE THEORY AFTER SAYING IT ‘DOESN’T EXIST’ IN VA, CALLS IT ‘DOG WHISTLE’

“So if you watch those entire interviews on our website, we do want to point out that the Terry McAuliffe interview is shorter than our interview with Glenn Youngkin. That was not by our doing,” Elias told viewers during Tuesday’s evening newscast. “Nick offered both candidates 20 minutes exactly to be fair for the interviews. McAuliffe abruptly ended 7News’ interview after just 10 minutes and told Nick that he should have asked better questions and that Nick should have asked questions 7News viewers care about. That’s what he said.”

During the interview with McAuliffe, Minock began by pressing him on his controversial remarks at last month’s gubernatorial debate where he said, “I don’t think parents should be telling schools what they should teach.”

“So are you saying parents shouldn’t have a voice in their kids’ education?” Minock asked.

“Sure, parents should have a voice. And parents do have a voice,” McAuliffe responded, before pointing to his record as governor of eliminating standards of learning exams parents had complained about, listing campaign promises on improving education in Virginia and attempting to tie Youngkin to former President Trump and former Education Secretary Betsy DeVos.

“So did you misspeak during that debate?” Minock followed.

MCAULIFFE SAYS HE DOESN’T BELIEVE PARENTS SHOULD TELL SCHOOLS WHAT TO TEACH

“No!” McAuliffe quickly responded. “I was talking about what we need to do, bringing people together. We have the state boards, we have the board of education and we have the local school boards who are all involved in this process. But the issue is how do we deliver a world class education.”

Minock asked McAuliffe if his administration would “issue mandates” telling schools what and how they should teach, to which McAuliffe punted to the state board to decide before attacking Youngkin for using a “racist dog whistle” responding to the Republican’s call to ban critical race theory.

“He’s talking about issues that don’t even exist in Virginia and we’ve got to move past that,” McAuliffe said.

Minock then inquired whether McAuliffe agreed with the memo from the Biden DOJ suggesting future involvement in cases between parents and school boards. McAuliffe dismissed concerns, saying the DOJ will “make their own decisions.”

The reporter moved on to grill McAuliffe’s record on crime and how much he would invest in public safety. Shortly after, a McAuliffe staffer can be heard interrupting off-screen attempting to wrap up the interview.

Minock went on to ask the Democrat about his support for vaccine mandates for state employees as well as for children in schools.

“All right, Nick. We are already over time,” the McAuliffe aide told the reporter.

“All right, we are over. That’s it. That’s it,” McAuliffe said as he stood up from the chair and began walking off camera. “Hey, I gave you extra time. C’mon man.”

“You should have asked better questions early on. You should have asked questions your viewers care about,” McAuliffe added.

“Well, we did,” Minock responded.
