If the Trump appointed attorneys leave, then Biden gets to appoint political hacks. Word has it that the Biden administration will ask for the resignation of all the U.S. attorneys appointed by former President Donald Trump barring two exceptions.

John Durham, who was appointed by former Attorney General William Barr to investigate the origins of the Russia probe, will continue with his investigation as special counsel but is expected to resign as the U.S. attorney from Connecticut.

David Weiss, the U.S. attorney for Delaware, will reportedly remain in office and continue to oversee the tax investigation into the president’s son, Hunter Biden.

The Biden administration may also keep the acting U.S. attorney in Washington D.C., Michael Sherwin, onboard as he oversees a sweeping investigation into the January 6 insurrection at the U.S. Capitol.

The Senate has yet to schedule a confirmation hearing for Biden’s attorney-general nominee, Merrick Garland, a federal appeals court judge who in 2016 was snubbed by Republicans for a seat on the Supreme Court. Let Garland fire these folks and let’s see if it’s legal.

So Joe wants his own hacks in there so they can watch over Antifa and BLM. Protect them in other words.

This information was leaked yesterday to CNN. Reuters, Forbes, ABC and other MSM ran with the story. It looks as if there are 56 attorneys left. I say the ones who were appointed by the Senate should stay.

Cook Report said it so it must be true. Republicans Came Within 32K Votes of Retaking House Majority in 2020. 2020 was to be the year of a Republican wipe out by the Democrats in the house. It didn’t happen.

Dave Wasserman, a political analyst and the editor of the non-partisan Cook Political Report, reported Monday that Republicans came within less than 32,000 votes from regaining the majority in the U.S. House of Representatives.

“Republicans came within 31,751 votes of winning the majority,” Wasserman wrote in a tweet, shortly after Democrat Anthony Brindisi conceded to former GOP Rep. Claudia Tenney (R-NY) in the race for New York’s 22nd Congressional District.

We will succeed in 2922.

A minority gets screwed over again. TJ Watt passed over as Defensive Player of the Year. Because of black privilege? Aaron Donald is a awesome player and odds are he’ll end up in the Hall of Fame. But TJ Watt had a hall of fame year and plain and simple fact is that he got screwed. Not a good time to be white.

Both players were deserving of the award. An All-Pro for a sixth straight year in 2020, Donald tallied 13.5 sacks, four forced fumbles, and 14 tackles for loss. Watt led the NFL with 15 sacks in 2020. He also led the NFL with 23 tackles for loss. One of the most versatile outside linebackers in football, Watt also recorded an interception while breaking up seven passes.

Whites and Latinos are minorities in the NFL. But they get no special privilege.

So no I don’t think it’s even remotely possible for the court to overturn the election. This is what I want to happen.

Universal mail in balloting. I’m hoping the court puts a stop to this. Especially as a phony issue like the virus was going to kill you if you voted in public. This one issue allowed Progressives to manipulate the way ballots were cast, when they were cast, and why ballots were not rejected.

 

In nearly every plea for expedition, lawyers backing former President Donald Trump told the court that if the cases were not heard before President Biden’s inauguration, their success would be unlikely.

But after the court pushed them off, many lawyers said that the challenges were still important and could have long-term implications for election fairness. Trump lawyer John Eastman told the Washington Examiner that even with Trump out of office, it was important to settle the issues raised by expanded mail-in voting.

 

The Supreme Court on Feb. 19 will hold a conference on their cases and decide whether to hear them, according to a note entered on the docket of Kelly’s case last week. They want the Supreme Court to agree to hear his case by granting his petition for what is known as a writ of certiorari. The justices are to review a number of such requests at their Feb. 19 conference. Edited.

The man’s clueless. Biden refuses to compromise or work with the Republicans. The 900 billion dollar stimulus pkg. is still working it’s way through the system. The CBO actually reported that by the middle of this year that the economy will be back. Only thing holding it back are the lock downs. And this is without the new stimulus.

But old Joe has this crazy notion that people out there are dropping like fly’s and the end of the world is in site. How crazy is that? Biden now says there will be no working with the Republicans like promised in Monday’s meeting with the 10 Republicans. This from Crazy Joe

“It is very clear our economy is still in trouble,” Biden said during remarks at the White House. “I know some in Congress think we’ve already done enough to deal with the crisis in the country. Others think that things are getting better and we can afford to sit back and either do little or do nothing at all. That’s not what I see. I see enormous pain in this country. A lot of folks out of work. A lot of folks going hungry.”

Donald Trump does going out what he did coming in. Created Jobs and lowered Unemployment. The U.S. economy added 49,000 jobs in January, a modest increase amid the labor market’s ongoing strain from the coronavirus pandemic. The unemployment rate fell to 6.3 percent.

First Trump adds 7 million jobs. Virus hits and 22  million jobs lost. What does he do? Brings back and creates 12 million jobs. Finally lowers unemployment from 15% to 6.3%.

How is this legal? Long Beach city council goes after the grocery stores. How do you put people out of work? You pass a law that forces companies to pay an additional $4.00 an hour. But only companies that have 300 or more employees nationwide.

Ralphs and Food 4 Less, both owned by the parent company Kroger, announced Monday that they will be closing 25% of their stores in Long Beach after the city council passed an ordinance requiring companies with over 300 employees nationwide to pay employees an extra $4 per hour.

The California Grocers Association also has filed a lawsuit against the city, claiming the ordinance is unconstitutional because it skirts a collective bargaining agreement between supermarket companies and unionized workers. A hearing is scheduled for February 19.

“Extra pay mandates will have severe unintended consequences on not only grocers, but on their workers and their customers,” said Ron Fong, the trade group’s president and CEO, said in a statement to CBS MoneyWatch.

A Republican in Democrat clothing? Senator Joe getting his way. Right now Manchin may be the only one who can stop or slow Biden down. He’s not supporting the crazy amounts the left is throwing around. So he says. All the Republicans need is one person to bring the 1.9 trillion attack on America and Joe just may be that person.

Sen. Joe Manchin has taken aim at fellow Democrat Vice President Kamala Harris over the administration’s approach to pushing its Covid-19 relief plan.

The West Virginia moderate, a key swing vote in an evenly divided Senate, blasted Harris’ appearance on a local TV station after she spoke about how the proposed relief is a “big issue” to his constituents.

Manchin, who is considered a key swing vote in the chamber where the partisan balance hangs at an even 50-50, promised that Republicans would have input in passing additional relief legislation.
