Texas lawmaker looking to do what Biden will not. Finish wall to keep out future Democrats. Since Biden decided to leave Texans unprotected, a state representative decided to try and protect the good citizens.

Rep. Bryan Slaton (R-Canton) filed legislation on Thursday to direct the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) to finish former President Trump’s border wall project using state funds.

The state representative contended that President Biden should not stop Texans from finishing what the last administration started. The bill stipulates that the governor of Texas would seek reimbursement from the federal government for amounts spent from the border projects fund.

According to Customs and Border Patrol, 281 miles of border wall have been completed or are under construction or in preconstruction in Texas as of the beginning of the year.

Jefferson Circuit Judge Olu Stevens declared that the charges against Walker would be dismissed with prejudice preventing him from being charged with the March 13 incident that resulted in his girlfriend’s death, the Louisville Courier-Journal reported.

Walker had fired a single shot at police, striking Sgt. Jonathan Mattingly in the leg, as three plainclothes officers executed a search warrant in Taylor’s apartment. He was charged with assault and attempted murder of a police officer

The official recall campaign against California Governor Gavin Newsom has now gathered more than 1.95 million signatures. Organizers have until March 17 to gather signatures. A total of 1, 497, 709 valid signatures must be collected and verified to trigger the recall election. Election officials have until April 29 to verify them. The announcement was made during an online meeting with campaign leaders who are, among other things, dissatisfied with the governors handling of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The most recent signature verification numbers from the Secretary of State’s Office found that about 83% of the signatures counted by early February were valid. There’s no guarantee that validity rate will hold for the remaining signatures, but if it does, proponents would reach the threshold needed to trigger a special recall election.

“That is more than enough to be able to have this initiative qualify for a special election later this year to let the people finally decide who and what is going to happen with the fate and the future of California Gavin Newsom,” organizers said at the conference.

“We are still setting our sites on getting an additional number of signatures in order to bridge that 2 million mark and we’re excited and hopeful that we’re going to have that in the time we have left,” they continued.

For years Democrats have preached how minorities especially Blacks aren’t smart enough to vote without a white person directing them. Biden’s executive order now says that the government must teach minorities on how to vote.

How desperate the left must be to want 16 year old children to vote. They are not mature enough to make those type of decisions. Just because one of those progressives had a 3 year and a 1 year old by 16, that isn’t a sign of maturity. More like stupidity and no parental guidence.

The racially charged fight over Los Angeles school closings took an ugly turn when an outspoken pro-opening mom said she got an email from the teachers union asking what her ethnicity is — after the union head claimed reopening pleas are largely driven by “white and Middle Eastern parents.”

  • Qudrat, whose son is in seventh grade, said: ‘I felt very targeted…they’re trying to say that if you are in favor the kids coming back to school, you’re racist’ 

  • The UTLA said it ‘understands this type of email could be taken out of context’

    Qudrat, whose son is in seventh grade, told Fox11: ‘Their conclusion is if you want schools to reopen right now, then that means you are racist against African Americans and Latinos.’

    She was emailed by the union, who said they were conducting a survey on people who have spoken to the media about the reopenings. Qudrat added: ‘I felt very targeted.

    So a mother wants her child back in school and she’s accused of being white and racist. WOW! I saw this and I thought I was on one of those Progressive hate channels.

The mostly peaceful protest went sideways. Was no armed insurrection and there was no creditable threat March 4th. What has been lost was the fact that you had anywhere from 250-500,000 people in DC that day. And when you look at the few thousand that attacked the Capitol, it was mostly peaceful. Just ask the FBI and Vox.

to the U.S. House canceling its session on Thursday in response to the threats by stating the intelligence he’s seen is “a bit of an
overabundance of caution, at least I’m hopeful,” and that “we’ve not seen any evidence of accumulation of crowds coming into the city, and
this mostly seems to be internet chatter.

 

Jared Holt told Vox that he “did not find any of the usual tells we tend to see when online extremism is about to translate into real-world mobilization prior to March 4.” Holt is a resident fellow at DFRLab focused on domestic extremism; he correctly warned in the days leading up to the January 6 insurrection about internet chatter indicating pro-Trump demonstrations that day could spiral out of control.

“In recent days, even, many extremist influencers and communities actively discouraged participation in any would-be action on that date,” continued Holt in a Twitter direct message.

Hopefully all those who committed crimes that day will be charged and punished. Laws were broken that day. Unlike BLM and Antifa riots where criminals are not being punished, they are for January 6th.

So we have a President who refuses to act against the rush to the border by this horde of undocumented immigrants. Many virus infected, gang connected, etc. etc.

Abbott issued the deployment order following a meeting with Texas DPS Director Colonel Steve McCraw. The two discussed strategies to increase safety and security along the border.

The announcement follows a massive increase in illegal border crossings since President Joe Biden took office in January.

Earlier this week, Democrat Congressman Henry Cuellar (D-TX) announced that Border Patrol agents apprehended approximately 10,000 migrants in the Rio Grande Valley Sector during a seven-day period ending on Wednesday, Breitbart Texas reported.

“We are weeks, maybe even days, away from a crisis on the southern border. Inaction is simply not an option,” Congressman Cuellar said in a written statement. “Our country is currently unprepared to handle a surge in migrants in the middle of the pandemic.”

Pelosi described the idea that Trump would be inauguration on March 4 as ‘silliness’ and said it ‘falls into the realm of let’s not waste our time on it.’

Thank you President Trump. Out of office and still hitting home runs.  379,000 NEW JOBS. As you know, the January Trump report was revised upward to 195,000.  Strict economic lock downs through the winter halted the labor market’s recovery. Didn’t see the numbers on the dead bird picker jobs.

Just think where we would be if our President didn’t encourage lock downs and didn’t go after union workers. So why do a $1.9 trillion stimulus when the numbers show there’s no need.

Nonfarm payrolls were expected to increase by 210,000 in February while the unemployment rate held steady at 6.3%, according to economists surveyed by Dow Jones.

Just because these are Democrat Governors, this must not be swept under the rug. The governors’ actions at the height of the pandemic were designed to ensure hospitals had enough bed space for the most serious COVID cases, but were almost immediately criticized by nursing homes and relatives for potentially putting frail, elderly care home residents at risk.
